Chapter 11: Strykers Island

This chapter was one of my favorites to write so I hope you enjoy. ☺️

Third Person POV.

Kana, Rae, Lynx and Tolen flew onto Stryker's Island. Tolen Carried Lynx as he hovered near a group of armed riot officers. Thousands of officers filled the whole island prepared with heavy weaponry.

"Surrender now you and won't get hurt." One of the officers said through a megaphone.

Lynx jumped down and activated his ring in mid air, then smashed into the ground sending a shockwave that extended for miles and knocked down hundreds of officers. He then jumped from the huge crater he left and beg and slashing at officers, shredded them to pieces without a hitch.

"Stupid brother... Always gotta ruin my life." Lynx grunted while slaughtering his foes.

"Hey don't even worry about it." Tolen said while pressing a couple buttons on his arm panel. "I have something planned if he tries anything."

Suddenly a thick beam of energy shot from the sky and disintegrated a group of officers. Tolen then dashed towards two officers and grabbed them, then smashed their hands together and threw them into the crowed of armed men. He then converted his hand into a plasma cannon and rapidly shot at the patrolmen sending them flying into the air.

Meanwhile, Rae carelessly ran towards a group of officers holding riot shields. He swiped his arm horizontally, sending a wave of air that sent the shields flying off of the island. Then he launched at an officer that stood in front of the group. He kicked the man in the face with both feet while sending a blast of wind from them, causing a portion of the group flying into the building. As he fell backwards, he flip over then sent another strong blast from his hands. Three riot officers came at him from different directions. One struck at him from the left but Rae blocked his attack by grabbing his arm. Another man ran towards him from the right but before he could attack Rae kicked him in the gut. The third officer tried shooting him from the front but Rae fell on his back, quickly dodging the bullets, then swept the three officers legs with a strong swipe of wind. The three men fell on their faces and the lower half of their body's folded on top of them, causing their whole back to snap in two. Rae then summoned a tornado and rode on top of it while it sent enemies flying off of the island and into the ocean.

"This is pretty fun." Rae laughed as he watched the men fly off in all directions.

There was one group of fifty men left and Kana had her eyes on them.

"This is pointless! We must retreat!" One of the men yelled.

"I don't think so." Kana said as she floated in front of them.

She pointed her finger at the group as they tried to run away and they stopped in their tracks.

"What is this?! I can't move!" They began to shout.

"Sorry, but I can't let you get away." Kana said as she raised both of her hands above her head.

Her eyes began to glow as she whispered, "Infareo."

Suddenly a purple cloud appeared above the officers. It began to crackle with red lightning before giant balls of fire began to rain down on the crowd. The men screamed in agony as as their flesh melted from their bones.

"Nice work Kana." Tolen said while walking towards her.

"Jeez this burned flesh stinks." Rae said as he held his nose.

"Yeah-" Lynx gagged.

Rae blew the remains of the officers off of the island and surrounded the team with a fresh ocean breeze.
