KABANATA 2:

ACE'S POV:

"Dalian mo nga diyan!" Sigaw ko kay Czev.

"Binibilisan kp na nga! Chill. The club isn't going anywhere." Sabi niya.

"Alam ko, but I'm an impatient person. Hindi ko gusto ang naghihintay." Wika ko sa kanya.

When Czev is finally ready to go, I told him, "We're taking my car. The chicks like it more."

"Grabe hindi parin ako makapaniwala binilhan ka talaga ng Papa mo ng Ferari. My mom says you're too spoiled and that I'm stuck with my Mercedes." Nakangising saad niya.

"Yes, I am. My dad has to make up being gone all the time in some way and I'm more than happy to accept his gifts of guilt." Sabi ko. 

I wave at the security men stationed at the gate as I wait for it to open.The club we are going to is owned by one of my dad's friends, so we don't even get carded. 

When we get inside, pumunta na kaagad kami VIP section. A server brings us drinks and we lean over the railing, looking out over the people dancing below. What I'm really looking for is my next conquest. 

Alam kong madaming hot chicks yung nasa ibaba, but I'm looking for the one that gains my interest the most. I see a hot blonde that I may just have to introduce myself to.

I turn to Czev upang ipa-alam sa kanya na pupunta na ako sa dance floor, and see that he is staring intently towards the booths behind us. I follow his gaze to a booth where there is a guy and girl sitting and see why he is so enthralled. 

The girl is gorgeous. Even though she looks nothing like the blondes I usually go for, I can't help but appreciate her looks anyways. I measure up the guy that she is sitting with. Mukhang mas matanda yung lalake sa kanya and most girls would probably think he is handsome. They both have sort of a Korean look on them, which I find interesting. Czev nudges me and says, 

"Wag mong titigan. Ako ang unang nakakita sa kanya."

I nudge him back, "Hindi mo ba nakikita na meron din siyang kasama?"

"Wala akong paki-alam. I'm in love." He said. 

Heto nanaman siya. Kailan nga ba siya hindi in love? In my eyes, it's really sad the way he falls in and out of love all the time. Love is for morons who don't realize how ridiculous it is to tie yourself to just one girl. I believe in having fun while I'm still young. 

We're both still staring at her, nang napansin kong lumingon ang lalakeng kasama niya. He smirks and turns back to the girl. May sinabi siya sa babae na hindi ko narinig dahil sa nakakabinging musika, pagkatapos pareho silang umalis. 

Nang nilampasan niya kami, hindi man lang ito tumingin sa aking direksyon, which disappoints me for some reason. As they walk down the stairs, I lean over the railing again to watch. Czev does the same thing. 

"I have to talk to her." Czev said.

"Tingnan mo sa baba, maraming hot girls dun. Hayaan mo na yung isa. She is already taken," I told him, but I can't help but feel the same way he is feeling. It's true, there are plenty of hot chicks down there, but I can't seem to take my eyes off of one in particular.

I watch as the guy and girl make their way to the middle of the dance floor. Nagsimula silang sumayaw to the techno song playing. Habang sumasayaw sila, napansin kong may space sa pagitan nilang dalawa. Maybe they aren't together after all. Kung kasama niya ako, I'd be dancing closer to her. 

She raises her arms over her head as she moves to the music. She then raises her eyes up to where we're standing and I see her smile and wink. Did I just see that right? Czev is thinking the same thing, "Did you just see that?"
