Jai then retracts his hand from me and starts to head in their direction but I grab his wrist to stop him. "Don't." He looks back at me and I'm sure my eyes are red despite not letting myself shed a tear. "Let him have his fun." I look over to see if he's stopped, but instead the kiss seems to have grown in hunger and lust; her hands are in the curls I once held as well, his on her bum.

"Let's just go up to the jacuzzi." I suggest. Jai nods his head with a sad expression before following me. Once in it, I notice I cant see Luke from here due to the elevation; he's underneath us. I sigh as I throw my head back in the water, feeling the warm water hit my body to relieve some tension.

"Alex-"

"Jai, please." I silently beg as I continue to look at the darkening sky.

"But-" I abruptly sit up in the hot tub to look him right in the eye from a couple of feet away.

"What, Jai? What could you possibly say to make what I saw better? That he accidentally fell onto her lips and was forced to touch her farther than he ever has to me?" I don't cry when I speak; I'm not fueled by sadness, but rather by betrayal and anger.

He looks down to the water, seeming to have nothing to defend the brother he has so many times before. He looks sad and I feel bad for blowing up in his face when he was just trying to help.

"Look, I'm sorry, okay?" He simply nods his head without looking at me still so I drift over to him through the water. "Please, look at me." He doesn't obey, so I lift my hand from the water and use it to lift his chin.

His eyes seem to search mine for a minute before glancing down to my lips. I do the same to him and notice the plumpness and alluring shad of pink on his, I could here the rapid pace of his breath as we near one another, but when I feel his lips begin to touch mine, I quickly tip my head downwards, so his lips land on my forehead.

I whisper softly with my head resting in the crook of his neck. "If we do this, then I'm no better than him." I could hear and feel him sigh from underneath my touch.

"I don't want you to do this for the wrong reasons, Alex." He softly strokes my hair silently until we're interrupted.

"Jai?" I instantly pry myself out of his grip and lean against the opposite side of the hot tub to look up and find Anne. She's in the same cute blue bathing suite as before with pink laces on the sides of the trunks and on the back of her neck and mid-back. But, besides the dainty features of the swim suite, her fit and petite body seems to be the best accessory on her. My self consciousness rises as I cover my stomach with my hands.

"Hi, Anne." Jai smiles up at her. I wave at her with a smile that she kindly returns.

"Hey, I just wanted to see if we could talk, but if you're busy," she gives me a quick glance, not in a rude way but more uncomfortable, "I could just come back later."

"Yeah, I think-" Jai begins before I cut him off.

"Oh, no. Please, come in. I was just getting out anyways." I lie as I begin to stand.

"Alex-" He looks up at me with pleading eyes.

"I'll see you at home." I awkwardly hop out of the jacuzzi, almost lose my balance, but quickly regain it. The dizziness from the beers I've had seems to enhance with every step I take towards the edge of the pool, in search of the shirt I threw onto the floor just before jumping in. In the midst of my searching, I also see Luke is no longer where he was before with Katherine, and I don't know whether I'm glad or not; he's nowhere to be seen.
