"Alright," began Joe, after wiping his mouth,"let's take this up a notch. How about we turn this into a seven minutes in heaven game? "
My heart plummeted. I could barely handle spin the bottle. What was I going to do now? Joe turned to me. "Sweetheart, guess who's next?" he asked with a twisted smile. "Stand up." I did as I was told without a word. "Now this is how it's going to go. We're going to go in the same order and choose who you go with in the same way as the last game: by spinning the bottle. But, this time you leave down the hall as we spin the bottle again. The person it lands on will be the "moderator". Now, this person will be standing outside the closet and can potentially hear everything you say...and do, and you won't know who is listening in until the end." He said yet again putting a sinister smile on his pretty face. "So let's begin." he said nodding towards me to spin the bottle. I did as I was demanded and bent down to spin it. I was a little unstable from the vodka I had dranken way too fast. I watched as it slowed down and slower and slower and stopped. I looked up from the point and with the luck of the Irish saw Damien looking back at me. He looked unsure like when it landed on him when we had to kiss. He stood up and we walked down the hallway that Joe was talking about. We found a laundry closet to the left at the end of the hall. He opened the door for me and I walked in and he followed and shut the door. We heard a pair of footsteps after us, it was the moderator. The closet wasn't a walk-in but it was big enough for me, Damien, and someone else in between. I knew this because we were both awkwardly against opposite walls and there was some space standing between us; space I didn't want there.
He looked at me. "Well this is the kind of stuff Ill be getting us into."
I laughed, "It's fine." I liked the idea of there being times in the future of us together.
"Really, we're pretty much locked into a closet for the entertainment of a tribute outside. This reminds me too much of The Hunger Games. All we need is a bowl with names instead of a bottle and Effie Trinket."
I laughed a little too strongly because my head fell forward and caused me to land on him. On his lower stomach. I thought for a second in this position. I used my hands on his waist to get myself up again and made sure my face was close to his. He looked down at my lips which were 3 inches away from his because I was pretty much on my tippy toes and he had his head bent towards mine. He finally bent low enough for our lips to meet. But, this was different from when we were playing. We were forced into it because of people around us staring, this time we chose to. We could have stayed there standing on the walls, but we chose this. I was starting to loose my balance on my toes with the help of the alcohol. He took notice and picked me up from my butt and I wrapped my legs around him. Our kiss was never broken and the intensity of it rose. My hands ran through his hair desperately and his hands groped my butt with the strength of his arms. Pretty soon I was rubbing against him as he began to kiss my neck. I moaned in pleasure as he started to get lower and began kissing my breasts. I moaned louder. Everything happened so fast. Before I knew it he bent down and placed my back against the floor and pulled my skirt up and I let it happen. He then slipped my underwear to the side and plunged his fingers into me. No one has ever done something like that, I have never came this far. It felt amazing though. He did it again and again, pumping his fingers faster and faster until he exchanged them with his tongue. I put my hands on his head making his tongue go deeper and deeper. He tasted me without holding back, and I didn't want him to stop. The pleasure was overcoming me. He got on his knees to unzip his pants when we heard someone say, "Time's up, kids."
He looked at me with the same disappoint on his face as I had on mine.
He zipped up his pants, wiped his mouth, and stood up. I put my now wet underwear back in place along with pulling my skirt back down. He opened the door for me as I walked out and saw Joe standing there. "Did you have fun?" We ignored him and silently made our way back to the group and sat down back in our places with everyone in the circle watching us. I had almost forgotten we were at a party but remembered from the music and people around us, but we were in a corner of the room. Damien and I waited for the next people to go. We played with each other's fingers absentmindedly without interruptions. Neither of us were chosen to go into the closet with someone or be a monitor until it was Joe's turn. He was the second to last person. He spun the bottle, and of course, it landed on me. I stood up and started walking down the hall without even glancing back to Damien. I didn't know what I would say or do if I did. "Well isn't someone rushing to the fun." He followed me into the closest and closed the door behind him. I stood against the wall and he did against the opposite wall for about thirty seconds.
He was staring at me and I acted as if I hadn't noticed and looked around the closet as if it were magical. He took a step forward, eliminating all the space between us. He put his hands behind me and on my butt. I slapped them away.
"What do you think you're doing?"
"Getting the real party started." he smirked.
"Not gonna happen." I noted.
"Oh, come on. I thought you were the family's entertainment."
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?"
"Well, I heard you moaning and gasping like you ran a mile with my cousin in here."
"I was with Damien-"
"Exactly."
I thought for a moment. "If you were really his cousin then how didn't he recognize you?" I asked suspiciously.
"I just came down from Syracuse for the party and I'm staying for a while. He doesn't know who I am yet."
"And who exactly are you?"
"I'm Ray."
"So, are you cousins with Katherine, too?"
"Brother."
"What?" I blurted.
"I'm her brother." He said slowly this time like I was stupid.
Why is Katherine's family haunting me? I had heard about the notorious "Sting Ray" but I never expected to find him at a high school party with his history and all that I'll talk about soon enough.
"Come on let's do this." He walked toward me again and I knew that if I stopped him I would be the laughing stock and loser again. This was a test to myself; a test of how much I really wanted to be changed, to no longer be the girl whose only friend was a book. I let him kiss my neck and rub my back. His tongue made his way to my mouth and it let it in. Suddenly the door opened, "times up." It wasn't Damien thank God; it was the same girl that I kissed earlier. I quickly wiped my mouth and neck with the back of my hand and walked back into the room where I sat back down with Damien like before but with more distance. "What happened?" He asked worriedly.
"Nothing, really." I could tell he was stuck on the word use of "really" so I tried to distract him from asking why it wasn't simply "nothing." "He's your cousin." I blurted.
"Really?"
"Yup."
I found a cup on the floor with some beer and chugged it down. We sat in the duration of the game in silence without any disturbances. I already wanted this night to end.
