We sat on the bed in complete silence. We didn't even make eye contact. He was looking at the wall opposite of me and I starred at the twittering fingers in my lap. I scooted close and turned his face to me.
"Justin. What did you mean?" I never left his eyes but I saw a confused expression grow on his face. "Do you have any clue what kind of mess I put you in?!" "No..." I grew afraid of his next words.
"Aubrey. You are famous now. Have you looked at twitter? Facebook? The news? You are not prepared for this life. The fans are dangerous! I'm not even kidding. Flashing lights everywhere you go. Screaming. Questions."
A single tear streamed down my face. "Well what do I do..?" "You do nothing. I put you into this. I promise I will get you everything you need." "What do I need?" "Protection."
I felt paralyzed. I was terrified. I took it all in. I mean people think I'm with Justin Bieber... I remembered all the crazed fans from the night before. The security guards backstage. The police escorts. My head dropped down.
Justin got up from the bed and kneeled down in front of me. He lifted my head, making my focus his warm, golden eyes. "I'm so sorry." I watched his eyes fill with tears. I dropped down off the bed to his lap on the floor. Cupped his face and wrapped my trembling arms around him. He returned the embrace.
"I'm gonna figure this out for you. Don't you worry." He reminded. I gave a rewarding grin.
"Are you hungry?" He left me no time to answer. He trapped my lips with his as he lifted us both to our feet. I pulled away and nodded. He smiled, grabbed my hand, and lead me towards the door.
Around thirty minutes later we arrived at a Waffle House. Just as he opened his door, I yelled wait. "What?" "Uhm, Justin...Bieber? Public restaurant." "And?" "No disguise or something?" He smirked. "So cliché."
He walked around to my side and opened the door. I starred at him until he reached his hand out for me. I went along and grabbed it, stepping out of the tall vehicle. Justin closed the door behind me and pulled me into his chest. "My mom's already inside, silly. This isn't television." I looked through the window to see his flawless mother sitting with a man. I looked at Justin and he led me to the door.
As soon as we walked in, all eyes turned to us. Employees standing in awe. Customers snapping photos. "Can he just have one normal meal, please?!" I snapped. Justin looked at me and my hand flew over my mouth.
Everyone came back to focus and quickly continued where they left off. "Easy babe. Where did that come from?" "I don't know" I said shyly as we approached our table.
"Morning mom. You remember Aubrey." "Course. Good morning to you both." "Uh, Scooter. This is Madison. Madison, Scooter." "Hi," I greeted. He returned a soft smile as Justin and I slid into our seats.
"Aubrey, Ma, Scoot. There's something I really need to talk to you all abo-" Justin was interrupted by a young girl.
"Ju-Justin..Bieber?" She had tears in her eyes. Now keep in mind this girl is maybe the age of 6 or 7. "Yes sweetie, and what's your name?" He lifted her up onto his lap. "Scarlett." "Wow! That's so pretty." I looked at Pattie and Scooter. They both were smiling at Justin.
"I saw you last night! You were so perfect!" "Really? You don't think I messed up just a tiny, little bit?" "Well, no. Only when you didn't choose me to be your girl!" I heard Justin's smirk and he turned the precious girl towards me.
"Heeey! That's her!" "Hi, Scarlett." I rubbed her head and smiled at her. "Justin. Are you two dating?" Justin looked at me and smiled before answering her question.
"Something like that." His eyes never left mine. "Well please don't hurt my Justin." "I pinky promise I wont." I interlaced mine and the little girl's pinky fingers as she turned back to her idol. "And Justin. Please don't let her go." "I wont." He kissed her forehead and put her down. "I'll see you later, Justin. I love you." "Love you too sweetie.
He watched her walk over to her table across the room and finally came back to me.
"You're so perfect with kids, Bieber." He pecked my lips quickly and pulled back. "I know," he smirked.
"So, what did you need to talk about honey?" Pattie's soft voice reminded
