The next morning, Sakura wakes up to a still-asleep Heracles with an impressive bed head. She plays with a few strands of his hair, before Heracles flutters his eyes open.
"Good morning, Heracles." Sakura kisses his forehead. "Good morning, Sakura." Heracles smiles and kisses her forehead in return. "I noticed you stopped calling me 'Heracles-san'. " Sakura smiles and gets out of bed. "Of course I did, I don't need to be too formal with the man I love." Heracles feels his face heat up, and burrows his face into the pillow, grinning widely. Even after all this time, he still just can't just used to hearing Sakura say that, just yet.
After getting cleaned up and refreshed, Sakura and Heracles decided to leave the house for a morning walk. Though, getting out of the house was quite the obstacle, as there were many sleeping bodies, passed out from alcohol from the previous night. Heracles holds Sakura's hand as they walk, "Can we go visit Takeshi? I need to thank him for yesterday." Sakura nods, "Of course, I still haven't greeted him either."
In no time, the couple reached the flower shop, and upon coming into view, Takeshi rushed outside to see them. "Heracles!" Takeshi smiles at the tall man, "Sakura! You're back!" Takeshi begins to tear up.
"I wanted to thank you, for yesterday." Heracles says, and Takeshi nods. "Don't worry about it, I knew I had to tell you the moment I saw her." Takeshi then looks over to Sakura. "And you... Still look as pretty as ever."
Sakura smiles, "Thank you, Takeshi-kun, it seems that you've gotten taller, haven't you?"
"Oh, uh yeah, I have. I'm a lot taller than you now, aren't I?"
"Time sure flies, doesn't it?"
"Yeah... It does, and uh, speaking of time flying, I... Recently got engaged."
This came as a surprise to both Heracles and Sakura. "You did?" She beams, "Congratulations! When's the wedding?"
"This fall, you're welcome to show up! As well as the others, if they have time!"
"I'm sure they'd love to."
"But, Sakura... Because you were my first love, I still love you!... A little bit." Takeshi face turns a bright red.
Sakura couldn't help but smile. "Thank you, Takeshi-kun, but you shouldn't say stuff like that anymore, you're fiancée won't be very happy, okay?"
"Yeah, I know... I just, wanted to tell you again." Takeshi sulks a little.
"Then, Heracles and I will be continuing our walk, I'll see you soon, Takeshi-kun!" Sakura and Heracles wave goodbye, to the young man, and he waves back slowly. "Bye, Sakura..."
The couple make their way to the memorable river, and sit down at a bench. "I almost can't believe that from the moment we met, would lead us here." Sakura leans on Heracles shoulder, and he hums. "Isn't that what they call fate?"
"I'd say it's more of luck, than fate." Sakura smiles. Heracles looks down at Sakura once more, brushing through her hair again. "Are you sure you want to grow out your hair again?"
"What do you mean?"
"Doesn't it... Bring bad memories to you?"
Sakura shakes her head no. "Not anymore, because as my hair grows, I'll be making new memories with you."
Heracles couldn't hold back a smile and leans down to kiss her. "Then, let's start with this one."
