(( Bobobobo, I'm back. (I really have got to come up with something better to start these.. XD Well, yeah, enjoy this part~ ))
"Dammit, England!" Alfred smashed his fist against the wall, creating a small dent. Arthur had just told him about Kiku's and Sakura's departure that happened last night, he sighed, "It's nothing to be so upset about, but you do realize that you will have to fix that, and we all knew that Sakura was only a 'filler', ah, I mean.. Substitute..." Alfred slowly turned his head to Arthur, "You didn't just..." Arthur avoided eye contact, he cursed under his breath.
In the library, Heracles was reading a historic genre novel at the wooden hand carved table. His expression gave off that calm atmosphere. The library was practically empty, as usual, "A young man like you looks better off spending time with your lovely lady than spending time in such an old library.... Please do tell this old man what you are doing here, I realize you have come here everyday... You are waiting for someone, I am predicting?" the old man library owner made a small smile at Heracles. Heracles looked at him, before glancing down at his book then out the window. "Mmn... I don't know where she went... I saw her yesterday from here, but she was suddenly pulled away." The old man grunted and walked over to him, a pulling out a seat for himself at the table, he sat down, "I see, you two are close?" Heracles hesitated to reply, "...I'm not sure." the old man raised an eyebrow. "I see..." He spoke, "Are you familiar with her?" Heracles replied, "I've known her for just a few days, I feel as though I know everything about her, yet there's still more to her that I don't know, that's what kept me waiting." the old man chuckled, "I see, you know, love is just like that, it - " Heracles flinched in surprise, a small blush on his cheeks. The old man's eyes widened a little, and he began to laugh heartily. He calmed down after a while, as Heracles stared blankly at him, the blush still a little visible on his cheeks, it was obvious that Heracles had no words to say, so the old man continued. "You do realize that you two are not always the only ones who are here, I see you two chatting each other up, smiling, and having a great time. I may be old, but I can read the atmosphere." Heracles nodded, trying his best to stop blushing, "I-I see.. I apologize if I offended you." the old man laughed, "Ha, ha, offended me? Boy, I've been around too long to be offended.". Heracles nodded once more, smiling a bit this time. "Now," The old man looked over to the book Heracles was reading, "I see you've found one of our oldest books, we had two, but I gave the other away." Heracles looked down at the book as well, "Is that so?... It's.. very interesting, it, reminds me a lot of her..." the old man nodded, staring out the window, "I am aware of that." Heracles continued, "But, also, it doesn't, the character here, seems more, open, and more, free... I guess..." the old man replied, "No.. I believe they are both the same in all aspects." Heracles stared at the old man, "You.. Know who I am referring to?" the old man nodded. "I myself still have much to learn about her, and I am more than positive that she too, still has a lot more to learn about herself, because the only person, that knows you the best is yourself... Isn't it, Sakura?"
In her room, Sakura brushes her hair slowly in front of her mirror, she stares at her hair as she runs her fingers through it.
"You are very beautiful with your long hair, Sakura." He smiled at her, and she smiled back, a faint blush on her cheeks, "Arigato!" he ran his fingers through it, gently grasping a hold of a few strands to kiss it, "Please don't ever cut it.." he smiled as he caressed her cheek. Her hand gently held onto his and smiled back.
Sakura placed her hair brush down, staring at her reflection, "Why... Why did I remember such a thing now?" she held her head in her hands, trembling just slightly. "Please.. Put this to an end..."
After a few long hours, Kiku finally came back from discussing a few things with his boss, he was dead tired, and was ready to pass out, but he wanted to check up on Sakura first. He walked past the kitchen, and realized that Sakura had not even touched the food that was left for her, did this mean she didn't eat anything at all? Suddenly becoming worried, he rushed up to Sakura's room, if she was awake, he didn't want to startle her if he barged the door open. Kiku gently knocked on the door and called out her name, "Sakura?" there was no response, he knocked again, "Sakura? I am back." again, there was no response. Not wanting to waste anymore time, he opened the door slowly and peeked in, "Sakura?...!!"
The room was empty.
"Sakura!?" Kiku searched all the rooms desperately for Sakura, he searched all the rooms upstairs, and ran downstairs, practically out of breath. He ran through one of the halls, and found the doors to the backyard open. A sudden wave of relief washed over Kiku, Sakura was sitting outside drinking tea. She didn't seem to realize Kiku was there, so he left the scene quickly.
Sakura took another sip of her tea, she stared up at the moon that was shining brightly towards her. "I wonder if you have still kept your promise... The moon is beautiful again tonight... I wonder if you can see it..." Sakura gently placed her cup of tea down beside her. There were a few moments of silence. "Sakura-chan." Kiku's voice was heard behind her, she turned around, "Oh..Kiku-san, you are back." Kiku nodded, "Mmn," he was holding a warm blanket and wrapped it around Sakura, "You should dress yourself warmer if you are going to be outside at this time, I would not like it if you were to get sick." Sakura nodded, "Arigato..." Kiku stared up at the moon, "It's a beautiful night." Sakura nodded once more, taking another sip of her tea. Kiku glanced at Sakura, before looking back at the moon and sitting down beside her. He let out a small sigh, "Sakura, do you believe in the red string of fate?" Sakura looked at him, "I beg your pardon?" he continued to speak, "The red string of fate, also referred to as the red thread of destiny.... I am not sure if China-san had explained this to you yet, but I will to you either way... originating from a Chinese legend which is also used in Japanese legend... The red string of fate in our country is believed to be tied around our pinkie finger, two people connected by the red string are destined lovers, regardless of time, place, or circumstances. This magical cord may stretch or tangle, but never will break." He paused to let Sakura take it all in. Sakura thought about this, although it was only a legend, it made sense. 1000 years ago, what if they weren't really meant for each other? But if they were? Kiku continued, "I believe everything happens for a reason, and although there are times where we wish, we could have done something, could we actually have done it if we had the chance?" he looked towards her, "And so, it is those things that keep us strong, because they give us a reason to continue on with our lives, so that we learn and do whatever we can to prevent it from happening." Kiku brushed a strand of Sakura's hair and tucked it behind her ear. "That is why... Sakura, if you truly love Heracles, do not let the past get in the way of it." Sakura's eyes slowly filled up with tears, she couldn't help it, as much as she disliked crying, she just couldn't help it. She nodded and leaned in close to Kiku, he hugged her tightly, silently sobbing, "There, there, it's alright..." Kiku rubbed her back in comfort.
"England I want an explanation!" Alfred slammed his hands on the wooden table, "America, if you don't control your temper you are break that table." Arthur snapped at him, "I don't care if I do break it, I want you to answer my question!" Arthur couldn't help but yell at him, "There is no answer for that!" Alfred made a fist with his hands and slammed them against the wooden table again, "Dammit!". Arthur sighed, and pulled out a chair and sat in front of him, "A filler, is a filler, nothing more, nothing less." "How can you say something like that?! Sakura is our friend, isn't she?! I can't believe you would stoop that low to say something like that!" Arthur yelled back, "Stooping low? I am doing nothing of the sort, I am only saying what I see, and that is the truth. It's about time you start seeing it too!" Alfred stood up, slamming his hands against the table once more. "What the hell, England?! I don't care if that's the truth or whatever, Sakura is our friend, she has feelings and emotions like the rest of us, so there's no damn way she's... She's..." Alfred didn't finish his sentence, Arthur let out another sigh, and placed his hand on the table, standing up, "As much as I don't like to admit it. I understand your feelings." he turned and headed for the door, "We can't run away from it forever." Arthur left the room without saying another word. "Dammit.." Knowing that there was nothing else for him to do, he headed for the door as well. THUD. "W-What the..." He turned around, the poor wooden table had broken in half and collapsed to the floor. He left the room in a hurry.
"Oh my, where's a lovely young man such as yourself headed to?" An elderly woman smiled to the Greek man, he smiled back, "Japan." "Is that so?" the woman asked, "If you don't mind me asking, for what reason?" he smiled a little more, "There's someone I need to meet. Someone very special to me." the woman chuckled. "A woman perhaps?" He nodded, "Yes, it took me a while to realize it but, I am deeply in love with her." the elderly woman smiled, a little bit jealous at his youth, "I wish you both luck then." he nodded. "Thank you."
As he boarded his plane, he took a deep breath. "I'm coming, Sakura."
