((It's December, you know what that means? ))
The next morning.
Sakura continued sleep peacefully in her room while Kiku was downstairs preparing breakfast. It was 8:34AM, and the house was as quiet as ever, of course, not counting the sounds of the food sizzling, the plates and glasses clinking against each other. Kiku placed everything on the table carefully, when he was done, he walked up stairs to Sakura's bedroom. He knocked on the door, "Sakura?" he opened the door slowly, only to see that she was still sleeping. A small smile tugged at Kiku's lips, and he closed the door quietly.
Heracles opened his eyes slowly and looked out the window, he squinted his eyes the bright light from the sun blinded his eyes for a few moments before his eyes adjusted. He recognized the surroundings immediately.
Sakura woke up from her sleep, she sat up lazily and yawned. "Nn.. What time is it..?" She glanced around her room for her wall clock, when she spotted it, she stood up right away. "I-It's already that late?" Sakura then quickly tided up her bed sheets, brush her teeth, washed her face, and combed her hair. She adjusted her clothing as she was making her ways downstairs, she peeked into each of the rooms for Kiku as she passed them. When Sakura had finally made it to the kitchen, there was already food prepared for her, it was the practical Japanese breakfast: Steamed rice, *tamagoyaki, miso soup, and broiled fish. A note was beside the dishes/side dishes, "Please warm them up if needed." She smiled at the note and placed it back down again, since the food was still hot, it must've meant that Kiku wasn't here not so long ago. It would be a waste to leave the hot food here, Sakura sat down, and placed her hands together before eating. "**Itadakimasu."
Once Sakura had finished, she cleaned all the plates and the table as well, she wiped her hands on a cloth before leaving the room to look for Kiku. She strolled through the hallways before seeing him in his office, Kiku had his reading glasses on reading the morning newspaper; he looked up and noticed Sakura. "Sakura, you are awake." Sakura nodded, Kiku asked her, "Did you eat the breakfast I made for you?" she nodded once more, "Yes, thank you very much." Kiku placed the paper down and took off his glasses. "Is there anything else, Sakura?" Sakura looked at him for a few moments before shaking her head, "No... Thank you, Kiku-san." she paused for a moment, "About, last night.." Kiku looked up at her, as though he was expecting a compliment, "Yes?" "Thank you."
As Heracles received his bags, he walked out of the airport, he stood in front of it, and stayed still for a while, not saying anything. "...Where does Sakura live exactly?"
The day had absolutely beautiful weather, and it would a waste not to spend it outside, Sakura went into the back to do some gardening, a few herbs were ripe enough to pick so she decided to pick them. A few hours passed and Sakura had picked a fairly goo amount of herbs, vegetables, and fruits, she then made her way back into the kitchen where she placed her baskets of goods from the garden down on the table. As she was about to wash them a cook lunch, Kiku stepped into the kitchen, "Sakura, you work too much, please let me do the cooking for today." Sakura blinked in surprise, "Kiku-san, but if you do all the work, then I will just feel guilty watching you." "Do not worry, you are still young, a young lady like you should spend time relaxing." Kiku shooed her away from the counter, turning the faucet on. "Are you sure?" "I am positive, now, go relax and enjoy yourself, alright?" Sakura nodded, "Alright."
"Hey.." Ivan stared down at the broken wooden table in the middle of the room. He looked at the other nations, smiling widely, "Who's the idiot that broke this?" Francis chuckled, "Maybe someone was getting ze love and was going a little bit to hard." a commotion was stirred up a little. Arthur elbowed Alfred's waist, causing him to jerk his arms up in surprise, "OW!" and all eyes then fell on him, "It was this idiot." Arthur pointed at Alfred, "W-WHA-!? No it wasn't! The hero wouldn't do something as stupid as that!" Arthur sneered, " But a "hero" would be strong enough to break a table, right?" "OF COURSE!... Wait, no I mean-!"
Sakura strolled through the streets, greeting a few people as she walked passed them. She walked by a floral store, and the flower vendor stepped out as soon as he saw her. "Sakura-sama!" A young man in his early 20's stepped out, his sleeves rolled up, and his dark hair in a messy fashion. Sakura bowed, "It's been a while, Takeshi-kun." he bowed back quickly, "Y-Yeah, I.. Haven't seen you in a while, and I was beginning to get a little, worried.." Takeshi rubbed the back of his neck, glancing away from Sakura, only to make eye contact with her again. His cheeks started to feel warm, he suddenly spoke, "S-So.. How are you?" "I am well," Sakura replied, "I see you are doing well." he smiled. "Of course! Business is going really well nowadays." "That's good to hear." Sakura commented, Takeshi hesitated, "You know.. I was, kind of wondering if... I could.." "TAKESHII!!" a loud voice bellowed from inside the shop. "TAKESHI, STOP WASTING TIME AND GET TO WORK!" His face was completely flushed red with embarrassment. Sakura made a silent chuckle, "You should back to work." Takeshi nodded, "Of course.." he made a smile at her, "But... Sakura-sama, I.." "TAKESHI!" he made an annoyed sigh. Sakura patted his head, "Don't worry about it, work hard, alright? Until we meet again." she made her way down the street. Takeshi watched her walk away, and fade into the large crowd of people, he held his head, where she had patted. "Sakura-sama..."
It was now a 2:25 PM, Sakura had been resting under a tree in a near-by park. A gentle breeze blew, and she tucked a few strands of her hair behind her ear, "Today was a nice day..." she leaned back against the tree. She closed her eyes, "A small nap.. wouldn't hurt.."
Kiku had finished cleaning up the house, he wiped the sweat off his forehead. He glanced over at the wall clock, "That took longer than I thought..." he then glanced outside, "...I feel as though I should be worrying about something... Oh well, it most likely is not much of an importance."
Heracles continued to wander through the busy street. His stomach was growling with hunger, he wasn't paying attention when he accidentally bumped into someone, "Oh, sorry." he glanced down to see who he had walked into. The young man looked up, "Please, do not worry about it!" his eyes widened, "T-This guy is huge!" "Is something the matter?" Heracles tilted his head. "Ah... N-No, nothing is wrong." Heracles nodded, "I see," he looked behind the young man, then back at him, "Work hard." he ruffled his hair before continuing his way down the street. "Who is that guy..?" "TAKESHI!!" He sighed, "Coming!!".
"Fault... It's all your fault..! IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!! IF ONLY YOU TWO NEVER MET! THIS WOULD HAVE NEVER HAVE HAPPENED!" No... Stop... I didn't mean it! "IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! IF ONLY YOU WEREN'T ALIVE!" I'm sorry!... I can't help it!..."WHY? WHY MUST IT BE YOU?!" I can't help it.. I didn't choose this fate...
"Poor girl.." Stop. "So that's her?" Stop.. "I heard she seduced him, and scammed him for money." Stop it. "Pitiful.." Just stop.. "A person like that has no right to be here..." Stop! "I bet she just wants attention just because she's immortal." STOP!
Sakura woke up with a startle. She was out of breath, a sweat drop ran down the side of her face. "What.." She pulled out her wrist watch, "I should go back..."
Sakura slowly walked back home, a sharp pain in her chest. She tried hard to forget about the dream she had, even though she couldn't even recall what it was about. She continued to walk back, the street lights slowly turning on, one after another. "It's that late..?"
She stared at the ground as she approached her house, as she looked up, a familiar face was at her door step. "It seems as though I followed my directions correctly." Sakura's eyes widened, she opened her mouth as to say something, but she was completely speechless.
"I'm here, Sakura." Heracles smiled.
