(( Hello again, as you see I am back with another chapter of this fan fiction. Um.. I don't know what to say about it for now so... Uh, yeah. Enjoy!))

"You were his brother?" Sakura didn't know how to react, the fact that someone of such high status was so close to her, not to mention it was her former lover's younger brother. She stayed silent, waiting for a response. He looked up at her smiling, "That's right. You see, while I was running away from home I had heard that my brother had fell in love with someone. It was only until a while later I had found out that he, one of the most respected men in all of Japan, fell in love with such a stupid girl like you. Not to mention you have no sexual attraction in my opinion. It was then I promised myself that I would do whatever I can to get closer to my, brother, and see for myself what kind of girl he fell for. Of course, I am truly disappointed." He stood up from the bench, brushing himself off then sat back down again. Odd. "Got anything to say?" His stare pierced through Sakura, she shook her head, "No...Please continue." without any hesitation he continued.

"I'm sure you're aware of his fiancee, Arina, a sweet girl really, pretty, well mannered... At least she was until she found out about you." He chuckled to himself, "It was as if we had awakened a beast, she became pretty protective over him, and wanted to know where he was every minute of the day." he then smiled to himself, as if the whole thing was a joke to him, "You know what would have been even better? If she actually tried to kill you. HA! That would have been the best to see!" Sakura stayed silent, she didn't question to herself to why this man hated her so much, she just wished he would hurry up and kept on explaining everything to her.

He cleared his throat, "Moving along, it then came to the point where she couldn't take it anymore, and on your 3rd anniversary where you met my brother, she went as far as taking her own life. Stupid really, their wedding was in a few months, I though she would be able to stay put but unfortunately she didn't. Of course, you were aware of this, but what you weren't aware of, was what had happened exactly after that little incident." "...And what exactly do you mean?" "I mean, what 'they' discussed about. Arina had quite the amount of fans, you could say, I honestly think of them as perverts. But when they found out that their 'lovely Arina-tan' was no longer alive, hell rose between them. Since they never liked my brother, they suspected he was the reason why Arina took her own life, and  were actually able to hire an assassin who also disliked him. The amount of money was a good amount of yen, enough to buy a good piece of land, the group of fans nearly went broke because of that, but they didn't care. If I remember correctly, my brother was leaving the main house with his stupid grin on his face, a pebble was purposely thrown to the ground behind him, causing him to look over to see what it was. At such speed, the hired assassin appeared from what seemed like nowhere, grabbed him from behind, stabbed his neck and disappeared just like that. Leaving my poor onii-chan to bleed to death... I would've done it differently though, I'd knock him out, and drag him off somewhere far away, and give a nice slow and pain full death, but I suppose everyone has their ways."

Horrified enough by the fact that her lover was just murdered, not only that, but his own brother just admitted that he would even go as far to even kill him if he had done it. "Are you saying you would even murder your own blood related brother?!" He gave her another cold glare, "I don't know if it got into your thick skull already but I'll tell you this now, and I won't repeat myself; I hate him."

"...ra... Sakura-chan.." Kiku gently shook Sakura awake, "We're here." Sakura blinked her eyes open, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, she saw the other passengers get up and leave their seats and look a quick glance out the window. Sakura said softly, "We're home." Kiku replied quickly, "Yes, we are, we really should be going now, our boss is waiting for us." Sakura nodded and got off her seat, she stepped past Kiku without another word. "....."

As the two Japanese received their luggage Sakura barely spoke to Kiku, when he asked her questions, she would only nod or stay silent. "Sakura, you know how rude that is, right?" Kiku said sternly; No reply. He let out a small sigh, knowing that this would go nowhere. Sakura and Kiku then made their way out to find their boss. They stood outside waiting, the day had beautiful weather, it wasn't too hot, or too cold. Throughout the the whole time of waiting, the two said nothing to one another, when their boss came to pick them up, Kiku did most of the talking, except for the times when Sakura was just being "polite". All three Japanese entered the car, and they were on their way. Sakura stared out the window from the back seat for half the time, he mind was filled with thoughts of what had happened before she and Kiku boarded the plane. Having that one last glimpse of Heracles, being able to exchange a few words with the other nations, and most of all, that note France had given her during her long train of thought, her eye lids began to feel heavy, and she was soon fast asleep.

Sakura stared at the messenger as if he had three heads, "But... Why would you hate your own brother, don't you - " she was cut off, (again), "I just do, I don't really need a reason, I just do. I guess you could say, it's that red string of fate? Hm, maybe that's not the correct way of saying it, but it really doesn't matter." a small pause of silence fell between the two. "Are you not at all, sadden?... By the fact that your own brother was murdered?" Sakura's voice was shaking, and the messenger laughed, "I couldn't care less." he stood up and brushed himself off, "Well, I guess that's all. Heh," he looked at her one last time. "See you at the funeral."

When Sakura awoke she was in her room, tucked in on her bed. She sat up properly and looked to her left, a note was written for her, "Our boss an I are going out for a bit to discuss a few things, we will be out for a while. There is food prepared downstairs in the kitchen waiting for you if you are hungry. Please take care. - Kiku" she set the note back down, and stared aimlessly at the four walls surrounding her. It was as if, to her; Sakura herself, the lonely bird had been put back into her cage; which felt so much small than before. She gripped her bed sheets tightly, "... I.. want to go back..."

Days later, the funeral was taken place, unfortunatly for Sakura, she was not allowed to even leave the house. The messenger had told a few people, and the word had gotten out about her relationship. Her boss was furious, and scolded her for hours, she was also slapped in the face. Kiku on the other hand was upset, but he understood how she felt. They represented the country Japan, the personification, they were immortal. To find love was very rare, although the happiness is there, they knew that if they were to fall in love with a mortal, the mortal would soon age and die, while the country would stay forever young. Days passed by and Sakura was locked in her room, the only times she was allowed out, were either to eat, use the washroom, or if it were related to a certian topic for thier country she needed to be a part of. Her usual bright face and smile soon dissapeared, her emotions became lifeless as the words that came out of her mouth. "If possible.... If I were to be reborn one day, I'd wish to be mortal.... So I would not have to experience such things like this once more... Please."

Kiku and his boss had finished up discussing the recent issues in the country, and decided to go out go for a small drink to relax themselves. In the midist of chatting, Kiku thought that now might be the best time to bring up something he had been wanting to bring up for a while. He placed his cup down, "Sir... I know that this is very sudden, but, I just thought that I should let you know this... I am sure that you are aware of what had happened to Sakura, 1000 years ago, correct?" his boss looked at him with a small hint of surprise in his eyes, but they returned to it's serious look, "Of course I am..." Kiku nodded and continued, "Well, as I was carrying her to her room, a note had fallen out of her pocket, I recognised the hand writing very well, and, it was from France-san." his boss took another sip before placing it back down again. "He's not harassing her is he?" Kiku shook his head, "No, of course not, though, in my previous e-mails to you I have mentioned Greece-san, if you remember correctly.." he nodded. "Here." Kiku handed his boss the note which was folded in half, he looked at the note, unfolding it and reading it. "Honda... This.." Kiku nodded, a somewhat sadden look on his face,

"I'm afraid so."
