I watch her leave, my heart breaking in two.
"Are you happy now?" I ask, turning to the man in the corner, hidden in the shadows.
"For now." He steps forward.
I regret everything I just said and I regret letting him see her naked body when she was changing.
"I expect her to die within the next three weeks."
"Of course, grandfather."
