When I Kissed You

Chapter7

February 8th 6 more days
Until the valentines dance ...

Only six more days until the dance and Carter still hasn't asked me to go with him.
Ever since we got back together things are still awkward.
I walked down the hall with Shelley, Alyssa and Quin then see the cheerleaders walk up to me and hand me each one pink roses. I turn down the left hall and walk to my locker.
A note on my locker said
~Will You Go To The Dance With Me~
then in tiny words said
~Open Your Locker~
I hand Quin my flowers so I can open my locker.
I wing open my locker to see Carter squished in my locker holding a pink roses.
Carter steps out of my locker and hands me the rose.
I hug Carter and say yes.
Then from the corner of my eye I can see Aaron looking at me then slam his locker door and run out the school doors.
I kiss Carter then tell him I'll be back, I run after Aaron and saw him hopping on his bike.
"What the hell was that"I yelled.
"What was what"Aaron replied.
"Why the hell did you run out of there"I asked.
"I love you Shay, do you know how hard it is for me to let someone into my heart"Aaron yelled back.
"I didn't ask for your heart"I said.
"That's right cause you don't care"Aaron yelled.
"You know what shut up, I never liked you anyway" I yelled back at him.
"Then what was that back at my house"Aaron asked.
"I told you at the party that was a mistake"I said.
"Whatever I'm leaving"Aaron said then got on his motorcycle and road off.
I walked back into school and Carter walked me to class.

Back at my house my Uncle David returned from his trip
and we're having dinner but I'm not hungry, I'm just picking at my food.

What's the matter with me, my life is some what perfect.
I have my aunt and uncle, I'm dating the guy of my dreams and Aaron is out of my life.
As the sun rises and a new day begins I grabbed my bag and get in Quin's car to go
shopping then see a movie hoping to clear my head.

4 more days until dance

I woke up to a text on my phone, it was from Carter.
He was wondering if I could come over for dinner to meet his family.
I couldn't just say no so I said yes.
I was going to die, it would be the end of me. What if his family doesn't like me what if he told his parents why we broke up the first time.
All I know is that tonight I better pray because I'm going to hell.
As I step out of bed and walk down the hall to the bathroom I see my aunts and uncles door open half way I could imagine waking up one day and them being gone, the almost last family I have besides my dads side of the family. I walk into the bathroom and hop in the shower.
When I hop out the room is warm from the evaporated water and the mirror clouded .
I throw on a towel and wipe the moist water of the mirror then brush my hair then teeth and shave my legs and pits.
I want this night to go perfect
and no one or thing can change that.
I walk down the stairs ready to go to Carters.

"Well sweet heart ready to go"Auntie Laura asked.
"Ya lets go" I replied.
"Well I can take you seeing how I haven't seen you in three months"Uncle David offered.
"Um okay" I said then walk to the door and open it for David then wave bye to Auntie Laura.

"Well I hope you have fun tonight and that their good to you"said David driving the car.
"Thanks David but what if they don't like me"I ask and look at David as he gets some look on his face.
"Shay Hazel Halliwell,don't talk that way, you are a beautiful,smart,funny young lady and they will love you"Uncle David said as a tear came down his face.
"Okay"I replied.

The rest of the ride there was silent but I knew when he said all that he meant it and it made me smile,to think my uncle loves me some much the way only you see a father can was heart warming.

"Well bye" I said unbuckling my seat belt.
I leaned in and kissed David's cheek to let him know I love him and thank him for being there for me.
"Bye honey" David replied then drove off.

~Ding Dong~

"Hey Shay um come in"Carter said.

"Dinner will be ready soon, come meet the family" Carter said and walked me to the kitchen.

"This is my mom and dad or you can call them John and Mary"Carter muttered.

Then two boys ran by yelling so loud China could hear them.
"Oh and those little pains are Sam and James my brothers and upstairs in her room probably playing dress up is Jo my little sister"Carter said.
"Well it's so nice to meet you"I said and shake Mary's hand.
"Same to you my dear"Mary said then handed me a turkey and asked if I can put it on the table.
"Sam,Jo,James dinners ready"John yelled.
As we ate I could feel my phone vibrate, I looked at my phone.

~Call from Aaron~

I declined the call then it went off again.

~Call from Aaron~

"Will you excuses me for a moment"I asked then stood up.
"We're is the bathroom"I asked.
"Just down the hall"Carter pointed.

~Shay on the phone with Aaron~

"What is it"I yelled into the phone.
"Goodbye Shay, you've made your choice and now I'm going to kill my self "Aaron replied than hanged up.

I ran out of the bathroom and grabbed my purse and jacket.

"Well thank you for dinner and it was nice meeting you all but I got to go"I said in worry than ran out the door.

I hopped on the bus to Aaron's house, I knock on his door to see his grandpa.
"Hey um do you know we're Aaron is" I ask.
"Well he left an hour ago"Said Aaron's grandpa.
"Do you know we're here went"I asked worried.
"I think he said some thing about the train tracks to clear his head"Aaron's grandpa replied.

I ran off Aaron's front porch and bolted across the lawn.
I ran all the way home, ran in the house and grabbed the car keys.
A cop cars sirens started to go off because I was speeding but just couldn't slow down so I kept going.
I parked the car and started to run to the tracks.

"Aaron, Aaron,Aaron"I yelled at the top of my lungs.

Then I saw him standing in the middle of the train tracks and I saw him look over at me with a beer in his hand, a train was coming, it was on its way.

"NOOOO"I yelled.
