When I Kissed You

Chapter18

Once the wedding was stopped because of Carter I told Aaron maybe we should wait and life went on and the next day i went back to the collage.

"Shay i need to talk to you"said one of my teachers.
"Oh hi um can i help you"i asked.
"Yes there is this job in Seattle for a month and some people i know wanted me to ask you if you would like the job"said the teacher.
"Oh really um sure id love to"i replied
"Good ill let them know, your flight to Seattle will be in three days and your flight will be leaving at 8:15am"said the teacher.
"Okay then and thank you for this great oportunidad"i laughted.
"Dont thank me thank your new boss in Seattle now back to class"said the teacher.
"I will and off to class it is"i said then ran off.

Once clases were over i headed home to tell Aaron the news. I didn't know how he feel about it but this was a big deal to me and i wasnt leting this one slip away.

"Aaron you home"i yelled as i walked in the front door but there was no anwser.

I went up stairs and started packing, i didnt want to take to much but i packed what i need then went down stairs and started on dinner.

"Shay you home"yelled Aaron.
"I'm in the kitchen"i yelled back.
"Hey"said Aaron then kissed my cheek.
"Hi, your all greacy"i said.
"Ya i know it was a hard day at work but I'm going to have a shower"Aaron replied.
"Okay then at dinner i need to talk to you"i said then chopped carrots.

At dinner i told Aaron and he said he was okay with it but i knew he would miss me.
It the day of my flight was finally here, Aaron drove me to the airport then i got on my flight.
Once the plane landed in Seattle I got a taxie to James St to the building were I would now work.
I walked into the building and walked over to the front desk.

"Welcome to Graytower how may I help you"asked the lady at the desk.
"Hi I'm Shay Halliwell I'm here for the assistant job"I said.
"Floor 25 just take the elevator to your right"said the lady.

I hoped in the elevator and pressed button 25 and glanced behind me and saw some guy looking at me, I looked forward again and got out on my floor and so did he.
I was then seated in a waiting room until a woman called my name, I walked into the room and took a seat, I read the nametag (Mr.Ethan) then waited  another five minutes.

"Hello I'm Mr.Ethan but you can just call me Andrew"he said then took a seat then I noticed it was the guy from the elevator.
"It's you"I said with a shocked look on my face.
"Oh um yes from the elevator"said Andrew.
"Yes anyway I would just like to thank you for this once in a life time chance but can I ask just one think um why did you pick me"I asked.
"I believe I am the one asking the questions but if you must know I saw your grads and I thought you would be a great assistant also with your leadership and those eyes but anyway let's begin"said Andrew as he cleared his throat.

After the interview I went to my hotel and waited for them to call me to let me know if I got the job and then the phone rang.

"Hello"I said.
"Hello this is Andrew Ethan, is this Shay Halliwell"said Andrew.
"Yes but I was told I would get a call from the lady at the front desk if I got the job oh my god I didn't get the job did I"I said.
" No you got the job I just thought that I would call you instead"said Andrew.
"Well thank you for calling and I guess I'll see you tomorrow"I said then called Aaron to let him know.

Week two...
"Hold the doors"I yelled as I was running late for work and the elevator doors were closing but Andrew kept them open.
"Thank you"I said and smiled.
"Anytime"he said and smiled back.

Once the elevator doors opened to floor 25 Andrew asked me to go get him a coffee and the today files so I did, I was going to get coffee and Dean one of the workers started to talk to me.

"Hey baby"said Dean.
"Dean"I said.
"Is that a sassy voice I hear or is that your matting tone"laughted Dean then I grabbed him by his tie and his face near mine.
"One day I'll make you choke on your words"I whispered.
"Sassy"he said back.
"Shay coffee, files"said Andrew.
"Coming"I said.
"Hey Andrew that's one feisty assistant you got there"said Dean and the other guys laughted.
"Get to work, all of you"said Andrew then me and him walked to his office.
"Sorry about that"said Andrew as he took a seat at his desk.
"It's okay I don't listen to them anyway"I replied.
"Well that's one of the things I like about you"Andrew muttered.

After work was over everybody went home except me and Andrew as we stayed and worked late but then by 9:40pm we got to the elevator.
As the elevator was going down to the bottom floor Andrew asked me if I wanted to go out for coffee some time as friends and I said yes then went home to call and tell are about my week but maybe leave out the part about coffee with Andrew even if we were going out as friends because I knew it would make Aaron upset especially after the Carter thing and the wedding thing.
