When I Kissed You

Chapter14

"Mom" Aaron said.
"Hi" she replied

Aaron and his mother stood there in silence.

"Are you going to invite me in"Aaron's mother asked.
"Ah yeah, come in"Aaron said still shocked to see her.
Aaron and his mother walk into the living room and take a seat.
"Its good to see you, you've grown"said Aaron's mother.
"Mom what are you doing here"Aaron asked.
"I just wanted to see you" she replied.
"Why are you really here"Aaron asked.
"I dont know okay" she said and stood up. "Can I not come see my son"she complaned.
"Whats with all the yelling"I said as I walked into the room wrapped in a blanket.
"Oh hi" I said in surprise .
"Well hello who is this"Aaron's mom asked.
"Shay this is mom,mom this is Shay my girlfriend"Aaron said.

That was the first time Aaron called me his girlfriend.

"Mom,mom,mom,mom" I said looking back and forth from Aaron to his mother.
"You can call me Megan"said Megan then shaked my hand. "Well it was nice meeting you and Aaron it was good to see you again, I better get going to my hotel, I plan to stay a while so call me id love to catch up"Megan said then left out the door.

Me and Aaron both fell back onto the couch.

"Your mom"I said.
"Ya"Aaron replied.
"Wow"I said.
"Ya"Aaron replied.
"So you called me your girlfriend"I said then turned to look at Aaron.
"Oh ya it just kinda came out"Aaron replied.
"Oh so you didn't mean to say it"I asked.

Aaron turned to me and took hold of my hands.

"Shay will you be my girlfriend"Aaron asked.
"Yes"I replied.

Aaron pulled me over and held me to his chest.

"So your mom, what are you going to do"I asked.
"I don't know, I haven't seen her in fourteen years and I don't even know if I can ever forgive her, you know I was in so much pain from my father and then to feel unloved because your mother leaves you with that man I just don't know" Aaron said.
"Well I have to get to school then I'm going to go visit Laura in the hospital and whatever happens between you and your mom you'll be okay"I said then kissed Aaron hands, got up then left.

At the hospital

I sat in the hospital chair in Laura's room as she was there sleeping. She was still sleeping when I left, the doctor told me she was doing good and that she could come home in three days but that still didn't make me any less worried. Once I was back at the house I kissed uncal David goodnight, I don't know what pain he must be in right now, to not have some one you love laying next to you at night and then I thought about how Aaron asked me to move in with him but I was to tired to think right now so I would see how I feel in the morning.

The next morning I woke up to an empty house, I guessed David went to the hospital to see Laura. I was laying on the couch when i got a text from Aaron.

Text

Aaron:hey my mom invited us to go get dinner tonight what do you say?
Shay: ...
Aaron:Shay?
Shay:what if she doesnt like me🙈.
Aaron: how could that happen your beautiful😇.
Shay: okay.
Aaron:okay,I'll pick you up at 8:00.
Shay:okay❤️.
Aaron:okay bye😘.

It was eight and Aaron picked me up so were could meet his mom at the restarant and once dinner was over i went home with Aaron.

"Thats it your mom hates me"I complaned.
"She doesnt hate you"Aaron said.
"Aaron I speak girl and us girls know when a girl hates another"I said and sat on the couch.
"Well I dont hate you and that's what matters"Aaron said then picked me up and carryed me to bed.

Its been a week. Laura is home and is doing better, Aaron and I are still together and Megan still hates me.

Sunday morning

I was laying in bed with Aaron when there was a knock at the door, then again then again.

"Can you get the door"I ask Aaron.
"Fine"Aaron replied.

Aaron gets to the door and sees his mom.

"Come in"Aaron says.

Megan takes a step into the house and starts to talk about things she has planed for her and Aaron.

"Mom wait, I really thought we could start over and forget about the last fourteen years but after the pain i've gone threw in life I dont know if I can let you back into my life after how long it took me to build up my walls so no one could ever hurt me again and one more thing, mom do you hate Shay"Aaron said.
"Well I um,okay you want to know"Megan asked.
"Yes"Aaron yelled.
"Okay I think your to good for this girl"Megan said.
"You left me with dad because you were scared and now you think you can tell me who I can and cannot love well guess what mom I love this girl and if any thing this girl is to good for me"Aaron yelled at Megan as I heard him from around the corner were I was listening to them.
"How dare you talk to me that way I am your mother"Megan yelled back.
"No how dare you, you are not my mom, you lost that label when you left me years ago"Aaron yelled again.
"Aaron"I said as I came out from behind the corner and wrapped around Aaron's chest and he put his arms around me.
"GET OUT"Aaron yelled as loud as he could.
"Fine, goodbye Aaron, Shay"Megan said then went out the front door.
"I'm sorry"I said in a soft voice to Aaron then he kissed the top of my head.
