When I Kissed You

Chapter10

I walked into school and headed to my locker but before I could get there Aaron grabbed me and and pulled me into the washroom and started kissing me but I pulled away.
"What what's wrong" Aaron asked.
"Well I kinda haven't told Carter yet"I replied.
"Oh" Aaron said.

"Well you know we're to find me" Aaron said then left.
I opened my locker to find a note from Carter asking me to meet him in the the auditorium.
I walked in to see Carter standing on the stage with a rose. I got up on stage and Carter sat me down on a chair.

" Okay um were do I begin oh yes"Carter said then continued. "

They is only seven week until graduation and once we graduate we don't know what happens next but I know for sure that I want to spend my time with you"Carter said.
"Okay what's going on" I said.
"Shay Halliwell will you marry me once we graduate" asked Carter on one knee and with a beautiful ring.

My heart was beating and it was all in the heat of the moment and I said yes. I didnt mean to but it just came out.

After the bell ran I ran home so there was no chance Aaron could see me. Once I got home Laura and David were still both at work , I ran up stairs to my room and threw my backpack to the wall then fell on my bed and started to cry.
Aaron was right, what kind of game am I playing. The I heard a knock at the door, I walked down stairs and pulled open the door and there was Aaron. He came in, held my waist and stared kissing my neck but I pulled away.

" I can't I just can't"I said and started to cry.
"You didn't tell him did you" Aaron asked and I nodded no.
"It's okay just try telling him tomorrow"Aaron said.
"No I can't" I replied then showed him the ring.
"I'm so sorry he asked me to marry him after graduation and it just came out"I said.
Look on Aaron's face told me he was done with me and never wanted to see me again.
Six weeks until graduation
Graduation is right around the corner and Aaron hasn't been at school at all. I walk into school and everyone is on there phone and then everyone looks at me as I walk down the hall. I got to my locker and Alyssa came walking to me.
"Hey have you seen the video"Alyssa asked.
"No what video"I ask.
"Here watch this"said Alyssa.

Alyssa hands me her phone to show me a youtube video of a drunk teen getting in a fight with another guy, they throw a few punches until people come stop them then the drunk teen sees the camera, walks over to the camera and says (How do you like me know Shay)then takes a drink of his beer.
"Oh my god Aaron" I said
"I know right"Alyssa replies.
"Well got to get to class"Alyssa yells then leaves.

That's why everyone looked at me this morning, I hope Carter hasn't seen it. Once it was lunch everyone want to the cafeteria, the whole lunch everyone was talking about the video and so was Carter. After school I knew I had to go take to Aaron about the video if he wanted to see me our not.
I knock on Aaron's door and there was no answer, I knock again then walk in. As I walk down the hall of Aaron's house I see beer cans, bottles and cigarettes. I get to Aaron's living room and there he is laying on his couch watching tv with a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other. I knock on the doorway to the living room then Aaron sits up to see me.

"What are you doing here"Aaron asked.
"I saw the video, the whole school is talking about it"I replied.
"Ya well I don't care what they think"Aaron yelled then got up and stared to pick up things off the floor.
I stopped Aaron and put my hand on his face.
"Oh my god ,is that a black eye"I ask.
Aaron pulled away then kept walking away. We got to the door and Aaron pulled it open.
"I think you should go"Aaron said.
"You know I won't even try but I just want you to know that I think your better than this, I'm sorry Aaron I really am" I said then kissed Aaron's cheek then left.
That night I had a dream about Aaron doing bad things that he could get arrested for and as the cops were taking him away I could hear Aaron yelling (why Shay why, how could you play me in your little game) but then I woke up to Carter climbing in my window then I turn on my lamp.

"Carter what are you doing here"I ask.
"What"Carter replied as he walked over and sat next to me on my bed.
"If my aunt and uncle hear you your dead"I said.
"I know but I was thinking and I think once graduation is over some of my friends and your friends get in our cars and me and you go and elope"Carter said.
"I don't know Carter"I replied.
"Shay I love you and yes we've had our ups and downs but we got past all that so what do you say Shay, will you elope with me"Carter asked.
"We're eloping" I said then my and Carter hugged then kissed.

Carter walking back over to the window then hopped out. I let out a little laugh, turned off my lamp then rolled over and fell asleep. The rest of the night I had no dream about Aaron no dream at all and for once in a long time I had a good sleep.
