"Have you heard? Have you heard?!" Someone unfamiliar asked you.
"Heard what?"
"Monsters are now free!" They grabbed you by the shoulder and started jumping for joy.
"Really you're not kidding?"
Suddenly a loud wave of unknown individuals crowded you both and started yelling.
"It's a crime!""They're violent beasts who could careless for us human!"
"Ugly creatures who doesn't deserve to live!"
They got louder and louder; the yelling was mixed with the sound of gunshots until it all just stopped. You were in a dark hallway now, there was an open door beyond it; it also had lights under it.
"H-hello?" You walked forward until you reached the door giving it a curt knock. "Anyone here?" You tried out the knob and it opened.
You were in a cozy looking room with a fireplace and a big armchair.
"Most people mostly wait for a few minutes for an answer before going in; but you're not like most people huh?" Sans whispered in your ear causing you to tumble forward and grip the armchair involuntarily. "Hell, you people shouldn't even be called people after what you have done; you all are the real monsters."
You stood up and faced him. "Not all of us deserve that title."
His grin widened as he stride towards you, he held your face delicately with his thumb and index. "I will make your life a living hell."
You woke up with a small headache; the dream caused you to feel even more tired than when you about to sleep. You looked around, Yep I'm still in this place you thought as you stood up and headed to the door, you pressed your ear deliberately against it. "Sans?"
No answer.
You tried again. "Sans?"
It was just the same result.
You turned the knob and to your surprise it wasn't locked, you stepped out curiously and took a peak. "Must be doing one of his patrols." You said to no one in particular. You decided to look around since Sans didn't allow you to do so a while ago.
This place was just plain dusty, it seems habitable with a little cleaning.
You barely found any items that would aid your escape. You wanted to peak out the window but felt a bit scared after what happened just a while ago.
"Excuse me but who told you that you could leave your room?" You flinched in surprise earning you a chuckle from Sans.
"Well, you weren't here a while ago so I thought I know you know explore a bit."
He just looked at you with a lazy grin before fishing his cigarettes and lighter from his pocket and lighting one up. "Oh, how rude of me. You wan't one?" He pointed the cigarette box at you; you politely declined. "Alright suit yourself."
A stangely comfortable atmosphere rolls in before he decides to break it.
"So, tell me kid why didn't you escape from me a while ago?" He removes the cigarette from his teeth onto his index and middle finger.
"Well it seems that escape is rather dim with your powers and such."
"Oh really? If you just ran away from me I would have let you go." He was practically looming over you now; his presence alone screamed dominance and authority. It nearly made you buckle your legs. "But no, you decided to stay.. why is that?"
"I c-could always leave i-if you want." You wanted to punch yourself for stuttering.
"You can't now, you're in my domain and whatever enters couldn't leave even if they wanted to~" He ruffled your hair before walking away. "I suggest you go back into your room kiddo, unless you wanna witness real hell."
You remember a fragment of your dream with his statement. You didn't think twice about running to your room.
A small chuckle rumbled in Sans' throat as he watched you speed away. "Why run when you'd always give in, in the end?" He placed his cigarette back into his teeth before inhaling.
