The next day was rather depressing if you say so yourself, the sky was gloomy, Sans was gloomy even the building felt gloomy. What the hell? Was all that comes to mind when you think about it.

You and Sans were both currently on a worn out sofa, you were on one side while he was on the other.

You looked at Sans with a curious gleem in you eyes; you looked at the deep cracks on his skull, the badly done stitches on his black jacket and his dual coloured eyes, from what you can observe he was heavy with emotions right now the bags under his eyesockets were evidence as well. "Hey, what's eating ya?"

At first he didn't seem to hear you but the second time around you caught him off guard.

"A-w-what? I beg your pardon?" He sat up straight and attempted to mask his emotions with his usual grin.

"I said, what's eating ya?"

"Don't worry kid, I've been in wurst situations." He tried laughed it off but he lightly grimanced at the end.

"Your face says so otherwise."

"Pie are you so worried about my state? Aren't you suppose to be angry at me for holding you captive?" He turns his full attention to you now.

"Just thought it would be a nice gesture, afterall by doing that you also gave me a few more weeks to live." You shrugged and leaned furthur into the backrest.

"That's very flattering, it really is, but some things are better off unsaid toots." That nickname made you feel warm inside unlike the first time he said it to you.

"Well I'm always here for you, chum." You mimicked his way of talking.

"That's nice kiddo, though I highly doubt that I would spill all my emotions towards you." He crossed his arms and gave you an appreciative look.

"As a lazy tailor would say, suit your self." You yawned into your hand as you got cozy on the couch.

"That's every suitable for my taste." He laughed.

"Hey Sans," You didn't bother knowing if he was listening to you for you were comfortably nested in the couch. "where's my heating pad? ya know, where's Comic?" You turned your head to find that he was already gone, you sighed then stretched your legs occupying the whole couch. And in a few minutes you were finally asleep.

Sans frowned as he stood over the sofa when you were peacefully asleep. Why were you so nice to him? Don't humans act very hostile? If so why didn't you? He could kill you right now if he wanted to, but why didn't he? Why do these questions keep popping into his mind? Sans clutched his skull lightly as he stumbled backward against the wall. He felt overwhelmed by everything, the loss of his friends, his brother, his only companion and now he has to deal with a human which he is suppose to despise acting so kind to him; what was all this baloney? He growled silently before teleporting to who knows where leaving behind a cold air to explode into the already chilly room.

You frowned in your sleep and huddled yourself in an attempt to warm yourself up.
