The week was rather eventful for you since Sans made sure to his keep his word by making habit of interacting with you whenever he can; he'd lounge on the couch with you and try to strike up a conversation or he'd bring you food and creepily watch you eat to the point where you just become consious about your way of chewing. It's creeping you the fuck out that you'd pretend to be asleep hoping that he'd stop bothering you but no, he watches you sleep instead! How lovely!
Now'a days you just try to steer clear away from him and hope for the best.
"Hey kid, you hungry or somethin'?" Sans' voice rang from the couch while you stared out the window.
"No thanks I'm fine."
"You sure?"
"Yes I am."
"Alrightly then, tell me if you are though." You could feel his stare boring onto the back of your head, it made you uncomfortable but you wouldn't show him that. "Beautiful day today huh?"
"Mmhm."
"The birds are singing, flowers are blooming,"
"Mmhm."
"It really is beautiful out today."
"Where are you going with this conversation?" You didn't bother looking at him as you asked.
"Just a stroll outside, wanna come with?"
"Neh, have fun though." As much as you missed being outside and all, you were still a bit shaken up after your last encounter with the outside world.
"Really, kid? Really?" You shot him a look that would be discribed as annoyed but not entirelt annoyed. "You told me I kept avoiding you, now I wanna hangout with you but no.. You just have to be like that huh?"
"You're acting like a teenager Sans."
"Who cares If I act like a teenager?"
"Nobody."
"Damn straight!" He stands up from the couch and began to rant of whatever topic he could get on. "You could have just ran away but no! You had to stay! Oh my god!" "And Comic?! He had to fucking be decorative sand just when I fucking needed him the most!" "And don't even get me started about about my personality being compared to a fucking teenager's!"
You looked at him, he looked back at you.
"Wha?" Sans stopped his ranting completely.
"Go on."
Sans couldn't reply, all he did was stare at you. "Ya'know what kid? Nevermind, forgot the rest of what I was gonna say anyway." He waved you off and let his weight fall back on the couch.
"You know, I can always lend an ear seeing that you don't have any." You laughed at your small joke.
"That's nice kid."
"Seriously though."
"Mhmm nice, awesome."
"Now your just being a stuck up." You said with a little concern, lately you had observe Sans being overwhelmed by his emotions and it doesn't look like he'd been letting it out.
"Kid listen, I really am thankful you wanna help me and junk but I don't wanna talk about it." Sans admits weakly covering his face with his hands despite it having holes in them.
"I think it's not that you don't wanna talk about it, I think this has something to do with me being human, huh?" He didn't answer but you were sure it was what he mean't.
"Please kid, just.. leave me alone.."
You sat down beside him and rubbed his back rather awkwardly. "There, there Sans."
