You raised an eyebrow feeling rather surprised that he even had the time to stop by. "Depends," You answered back slowly rising from the mattress.
"I just have something for you, nothing big really, just a small gift." Sans kinda sounds a bit too fatigue for your liking.
You twisted your lips as you thought for a few moments. "Alright, come on in." You said in a slow manner still unsure whether it was safe or not. But hey you could trust Sans right?
The door opened revealing an empty handed Sans who was indeed looking fatigue. "Gees, what happened to you?"
"Just.. ya know working on something." He replies drowsily.
"Okay.. So about the suprise?" You had to admit that you didn't really wanna sound desprate but.. your curiousity is killing you.
Sans chuckled at you before stepping aside and placing two fingers between his teeth and whistling (oh how ever he managed that you would never know). The sound of nails tapping against concrete gave a rather depressing feeling.
"Sans.. you didn't remake him..right?" You asked in a small meek voice.
Sans' grin faltered for a moment before perking up again. "Of course I didn't, yea I miss the mutt but.. It's his time to rest now."
Not a moment later you were staring at the doorway with wide eyes.
"You'll love him, I'm sure."
It was yet another skeledog just like Comic, instead it was taller and leaner along with a grey set of pupils; he had a bone structure that is equivalent to a hyena and a tiger combined with powerful looking hindlegs and big frontal paws.
"Oh, wow." Was all you manage to say.
"I see you're impressed." Sans says feeling rather proud of his achivement.
"Why?"
He looked baffled at your question. "What do you mean 'why'?"
"Why'd you make a new one?" You observed the new skeledog who seems to have taken a great interest on your blankets.
"Well, you told me you were uncomfortable with the silence so I made you company." He said this as if it was the most obvious thing ever. "Do you not like him?"
"Of course I like him! It's just.."
"Just..?"
"I feel like he'd replace Comic all and all." You reached out and pet the skeledog, he leans forward to your touch.
"Well he wouldn't replace the orginal now would he."
You covered the skeledog's ears. "Don't say that infront of him!"
"But you just.. nevermind. What'cha gonna name him?"
"I get to name him?" You let go of the dog in surprise.
"He does belong to you so go wild kid."
"Hmm.." You pretended to stroke your beard while thinking. "Serif." You declared.
"Serif? Why?"
"Listen bub, I didn't question you naming your dog Comic so step off my Serif, Sans." You growled playfully before hugging the skeledog.
"Alright then.." Sans walked out not bothering to close the door.
You feeling quite giddy now decided to follow him to the living room and plopping beside him on the sofa.
"What are you doing?"
You smiled when you caught Serif sit down besides you on your peripheral vision. "Oh nothing, just wanted to keep you company."
"Well thanks," He yawned into his hand and leaned furthur into the couch for a better position. "I appreciate it." He was asleep in a matter of seconds.
You looked at Sans admiring every little detail about him; the cracks on his skull, his permenent grin, his soft battle scarred jacket,-
"Don't stare at me please.." He murmurred with his eyes still closed.
You yelp and blushed. "Sorry 'bout that.." You looked away and focused your interest on Serif who was also dozing off beside you.
Moments later you felt a weight on your shoulder, turning your head slightly you found Sans now leaning against you with his head on your shoulder blades. You frozed and muttered a few curse words due to you unable to move cause you didn't wanna wake to tired skeleton instead you stayed in the back aching position for a whole hour.
