Chapter 14:Coma

Sam's P.O.V

I guess I fell asleep on the chair because I was woken up by Doctor Mason.

"Sorry, we just have to check her condition, you can either wait outside or you can go home and we will call you if something changes." He kindly said.

"I'll wait outside, I'll call her brother and tell him everything about what happened and how Chloe is feeling." I said and Doctor Mason nodded. 

As soon as I stepped out of the room I got my phone out and called Josh.

Phone Conversation

Josh-"Hey Sam, how is she?!"

Me-"She's stable but she's.....she's in a coma."

Josh-"Oh my God. I'm coming right over. Meet me there?"

Me-"Sure, come to room 224, I'll be outside."

Phone Conversation over

Doctor Mason came out of Chloe's room about 5 minutes later.

"How is she?" I asked.

"She's fine but still in a coma. Good news are that we are expecting her to wake up in the next 48 hours."

I nodded and sat back down, waiting for Josh. I started thinking about what 'Hannah' had said to her. Did Chloe really believe that I'm using her? I was brought back to reality when I felt Josh tapping on my shoulder.

"Sorry, I was just thinking about something." I said standing up and walking up to Chloe's door. I looked at Josh one more time before opening the door. I walked in first and went up to Chloe. I let Josh sit down on the chair while I sat on the edge of her bed holding her hand. We sat in silence for a couple of minutes while I let tears fall down my cheeks.

"What did they doctor say?" Josh suddenly asked making me jump.

"Mason said that she was probably standing up when she um..when she cute her wrist but then she must've lost her balance and fell. When she fell she hit her head causing some damage that made her go in a coma." I said with more tears falling down my cheeks

"It's not your fault Sam. Blame Hannah for this. God I hate her so much!" 

"What happened between Hannah and Chloe?" I asked looking up at Josh who was looking down at the floor.

"Well about 6 months ago I was dating Hannah and when she met Chloe, I don't know she looked like she got jealous, Hannah hated Chloe because both of them were models and Hannah knew that Chloe was better. I broke up with Hannah when I found out that she cut Chloe's dress that Chloe was going to wear for the catwalk. Hannah blamed Chloe for everything." 

I nodded taking in what Josh just said. I still blame myself for leaving her by herself. I saw her other hand moving but Doctor Mason said it was normal but then I felt her squeeze my hand. 

"JOSH SHE JUST SQUEEZED MY HAND!" I stood up making Josh jump as well.

"What?! I'll go and get the doctor." Josh ran out of the room and I could hear him calling Doctor Mason.

"Chloe? Chloe please wake up! I love you." I whispered in her ear as I hugged her but she still didn't wake up.

I just hope when she wakes up she remembers me. This whole situation made me realize that I really did have feelings for Chloe.
