Aaren Burge- Edward Wilding

My head pounded, causing me to feel uncomfort even though the bed I was in felt like I was on a cloud. Pain can overcome anything.

I slowly opened my eyes, not knowing how I got from the pool to my bed. The last thing that came to mind was when I got out of the pool, and then my memory was gone from there.

I slowly got up from the bed, my head still protesting. It was trying to connect the dots from my memory loss.

I opened the door and looked around, greeted by silence. I went down the stairs, using the railing for support.

Everyone was in the living room, siting on the couches, talking or watching what was on the television.

Once they saw me they stopped talking and gave me warm smiles. I stayed by the staircase, still holding on so I could stand. My legs weren't seeming tone awake yet.

"W-what happened?" I asked, gazing at all of them. They share looks before Amara spoke up.

"You blacked out once you got out of the pool."

"Why?" My voice was breathy from having no energy and feeling exhausted.

"Low blood pressure. You need to start eating normally." There was truth in that. I hardly ate, but that was a normal thing for me. It's not like a sudden change in diet, I just don't eat all that much.

"It isn't a problem, we can being you more food when it's time for a meal." Amara continued. I nodded, knowing I still wouldn't eat as much. "Why don't you come sit and watch the show with us?"

Gael patted the empty spot next to her, so I let go of the railing and stepped towards them. Except from the attempt my legs fell limp and I collapsed to the ground. My cheeks flushed with embarrassment, but I was being helped up right away.

I thanked Levi for helping me up as he supported my body until I got to the couch. Once I was seated he went back to Amara's side and brought her close to his chest. God, why is everyone here goals?!

"You aren't going to be able to walk that well for the rest of the day." A new voice said above us. I looked up to see Grayson holding a bottle of beer, standing near the top of the staircase looking over at me. I nodded and tore my gaze from his to the television.

"So what is on?" I whispered to Gael.

"Teen Wolf. The guys didn't want to watch, but with a little... convincing... they obliged." She explained without tearing her eyes from the television. I nodded, familiar with the show. I've seen a couple of the episodes because Charity would sometimes make me watch it with her when we had sleepovers, but I would never understand what was happening.

"Have you seen it before?" She asked, turning her gaze to me. I shrugged.

"A little bits and pieces, but not enough to know everything."

"Well I think this show is amazing. They're all so hot. I want to take all of them for myself." Gael sighed already daydreaming, but there was a low growl. It was around lunch, so maybe someone was hungry? Aaren pulled Gael closer to his side, and she caved, snuggling her head into his chest and her legs over his lap. They were so comfortable around each other.

I looked around, noticing how Caiden and Charity were cuddling, as was Levi with Amara, and Gael with Aaren. Why is everyone here so matched? Like a perfect couple made from heaven? I was suddenly feeling like a third-wheeler, or seventh, so I stood up, balancing myself, and walked out. Nobody noticed, seeing they were all lost with their match.
