 *Next Day*

Fenix was sitting in a chair in the dining room. The restaurant had just closed, and he was left to his thoughts, as everyone was still a bit tense around him. Except for Lucky and Maggie of course. Lucky, his son, ran in, holding the soft toy he gave him. "Hey Dad!", the tabby chirped, jumping into his arms. "Hey kiddo. How are you today? I saw you at the Trading Post, you're pretty good at it.", Fenix greeted, and Lucky smiled even wider. "Good! The Trading Post is a lot of work because I have to get the money right, but otherwise its fun! I like seeing the kids smile when they get a toy!", Lucky said, and Fenix chuckled. "I'm glad you do, kiddo. So, what do you think of Dr. Blossom? She seems nice, and I'm guessing Aleene is her patient now?", Fenix asked, and Lucky nodded. "Yep. Its because she's been stressed out lately. I guess she has gone through a lot lately.", Lucky shrugged, and Fenix frowned. "That doesn't mean she can try to kill an unborn child.", he commented, and then Aleene walked in.

"Hi Fenix.", she greeted. "Yes, Aleene? What do you want?", Fenix said aggressively, and Aleene sighed sadly. "I wanted to apologize for my out-of-line behavior. I just don't know what happened to me. I was having hallucinations, I was feeling really stressed, I even hated Horus, Revan, Artanis, you, and the other Longfangs. But... I don't know why. I even tried to force my own sister to abort her child! I... I would never forgive myself if I had succeeded. I hate myself for what I did. You have saved my family, my friends, you made my sister the happiest I've ever seen her, you've done so much for my family. And this is the thanks you get?", Aleene whimpered, tears flowing down her face as Lucky's and Fenix's expressions softened. "No. No its not. Or it shouldn't be. I can only imagine what horrible things that you brand with my name. After everything my parents have taught me, and yet I still did those horrible, horrible things. And you know what? It was all because I let a hallucination get to my head.", she cried, and Lucky and Fenix actually felt sorry for her. "You're my family, and I treated you horribly! You saved me from my worst nightmare. From Basket. And so much more. I understand if you can't forgive me. Because honestly, I don't think I can ever forgive myself.", Aleene sighed, and began to walk away, when she was hugged from behind.

"I forgive you.", Fenix said, and Aleene broke away from the hug. "Really?", she whimpered, wiping away tears with a hopeful smile on her face. "Well, I know first hand what it means to be out of control. An example being with my rage on multiple occasions. And I guess since your rage is controllable from birth... you were overwhelmed by not being able to help anyone. Its okay. Let's just make it an IOU, okay?", Fenix suggested, and Aleene nodded excitedly and hugged him.

Suddenly, Fenix felt that something was wrong. He broke the hug with Aleene and looked around, trying to see if someone was spying on them. "Dad? Are you okay?", Lucky asked, and Fenix frowned. "We're not alone.", he mumbled, and both of the cats next to him immediately began to look around, nervous. "Do you think it's one of Dolor's spies?", Aleene whispered, and Fenix narrowed his eyes. "Maybe. Lucky, go to your mother. Aleene and I are going to poke around to see what's up.", the tiger muttered, and Lucky ran to his parents' room.

"Are you sure something is wrong?", Aleene quietly asked, and Fenix nodded. "Yes. I can hear them in the ceiling. This way, come on.", he pointed down the hall where the animatronic living quarters were, and they both carefully made their way to the end of the hallway, until they reached Aleene and Goldy's room. Fenix's eyes widened. "It just went over the door. Its right above your room at this very moment.", he muttered, and Aleene gasped. Suddenly, a crash was heard from the room, and there was the sound of struggling. Fenix hushed Aleene, and turned the hallway light off before carefully opening the door silently.
