Chpt. 33 (Earlier than Expected)

Pregnancy Tracker: Aleene is 8 and a half months pregnant [Third Trimester]: Turquoise is 9 months pregnant [Third Trimester]: Maggie is 5 pregnant [Second Trimester]:

*Next Day*

Aleene was in her room, knitting. Goldy was with Belle, showing her how to control the power she had inherited from Dolor, as Alice was helping Quill with it as well. Aleene was knitting a sweater. For who? Fenix. The sweater was pink, and read, 'Mr. Dad Guy'. Aleene wanted to get him a gag gift and a blanket. Maggie already knew about it, and she had laughed so hard she had started to cry when she saw that Aleene was making it a bright, girly pink, as he would soon be the father of two baby girls. Right around winter time. But before then, Alice, Howl, Maggie, Goldy and Fenix all agreed that they wanted to be married before then. The others' weddings were planned for next year. They wanted plenty of time to plan it. 

Suddenly, Jake opened the door. He held out the phone. "It's Alena. She wants to talk to you. Says it's important.", Jake said, and Aleene took the phone. Dr. Blossom showed up behind Jake, and kissed him on the cheek. "Come on sweetie, we have to get back to work!", she crooned, and Jake chuckled. "Okay, okay, I'm coming.", the two left, and Aleene guessed that the two were probably a couple now. She brought the phone to her ear. "Hello? Alena?", Aleene asked, and Alena giggled. "Hey Mom. It's been a while since we've talked, so I wanted to see how you were doing, and tell you something. So, how's Goldy? Rumor has it he's missing an eye.", Alena asked, and Aleene smiled. "Yes, he is. But he can still see out of it because of that power he has that he inherited from Bonnie.", Aleene explained. "Okay, at least he's not crippled then. How's the baby bump doing? I know you're due in a week or so.", Alena pointed out, and Aleene chuckled. "Yep. I'm pretty excited. I'm going to see my babies, and Amethyst says she wants to see them not too long after they're born, same goes for BonBon and Bonnie. They are ecstatic that Goldy is going to have a big family.", Aleene crooned, and Alena sighed. "To think that it was only about a year ago that Amethyst hated us Alidines with a passion. And with the Newbies moving in a year ago since last week, they fit in so well, you'd expect them to be related to us in someway. I saw how bananas they were for Aunt Maggie's mint chocolate chip cookies.", Alena smirked, and Aleene laughed. "Who could resist them? Though it's hard to get them when Maggie herself is pregnant, and she keeps eating them as soon as they go in the cookie jar.", Aleene groaned.

Alena could be heard laughing, but it was distant, probably because she had pulled the phone away from her mouth. "Wow. I miss you guys so much. Revan really wants to meet everyone. He still hasn't managed to meet Quill yet, or the newbies. Revan hasn't seen any of you guys in forever, which is why when this Amon thing is over, we want to visit if that's alright.", Alena said, and Aleene's ears perked up. "I'd love that. Maybe I could challenge him to an arm wrestling match.", Aleene smirked, and Alena sighed. "Fine, but go easy on him, okay? But at the same time, don't. I want to see his face when he realizes how strong you really are, Mom.", Alena laughed. Aleene smirked as she flexed her arm. She was the best at arm wrestling. Not even Horus could beat her. She couldn't really use the strength in a fight though, she only found the strength when in a playful challenge. She had her father's pride when it came to a competition. But the strength was only useful when competing, or when in a fight because someone dared to question her authority as leader of her house. The Longfangs had their alphas, the Alidine household had Aleene. For now. "I'll go easy on him the first round, as I think he'll go easy on me. Don't tell him about my strength though, it has to be a surprise.", Aleene warned, and Alena giggled. 

"I won't. But speaking of Revan, he and Shay have gone to fight Amon to the death. And I'm really worried about my kitty.", Alena whimpered, and Aleene sighed. "He'll be okay, Sweetheart. He is incredibly strong, and since he has been training non-stop, I'm sure he'll beat him into the ground with Shay's help.", Aleene assured. "You're probably right, Mom. I can't help but worry. So, tell Aunt Maggie not to eat all the cookies. I want some when I visit. Gotta go Mom, love you.", Alena purred, and Aleene purred back. "Love you too!", and they both hung up. Aleene returned the phone to Jake, and returned to her room. She sat down in the chair, and was thinking about what to wear when Alena visited.

Then an enormous pain started in her abdomen. Aleene lurched over, clutching her stomach. She moaned in pain, and another wave of pain hit her. Another wave, she hit the floor, and Aleene realized what was happening to her. 

"GOLDY! GET YOUR GOLDEN ASS IN HERE AND HELP ME GIVE BIRTH!", she screeched, and Goldy was in the room after about 3 seconds. "Aleene! You aren't due for two weeks!", Goldy yelled, and Aleene hissed at him. "No, obviously, I'm due RIGHT NOW!", she roared, and Goldy winced as he helped her into bed. Maggie rushed in, as well as Alice, and they began to help her. "Come on Mom, PUSH!", Alice ordered, and Aleene glared at her. "WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE I'M DOING!?", Aleene yelled. Goldy cringed as she crushed his hand. Then, cries were heard, and Maggie held up the baby.

"It's a boy!", Alice chirped, and Goldy smiled. Aleene then began to scream again, and she squeezed Goldy's hand even tighter. Maggie quickly cut the cord to the baby boy, and then helped Aleene with the twin. After about five more minutes of screaming in pain from both Goldy and Aleene, the second baby was born. "It's a girl. Congrats you two.", Maggie purred as she cleaned off the baby girl. 

The baby boy was handed to Goldy and Aleene. It was a bunny with cat ears. He was light purple with light blue patches. He had purple eyes, like Goldy, and both Aleene and Goldy could see his tiny claws. Then, Aleene noticed something. 

"Uhh Goldy? I thought you said that your golden coloring wasn't natural...", she mumbled, and Goldy looked confused. "Look at his ears and tail.", Aleene pointed, and Goldy's eyes widened. There was little specks of gold decorating the baby's ears and tail, glinting in the light of the room. "What the hell?", Goldy muttered, and then the baby girl was handed to him. The baby girl was a bunny, but she had claws as well. She was light blue with purple and gray patches, and a gray area covering her chest. But, she also had the golden specks on her ears and tail. "So... what are we naming them?", Alice asked, and the two snapped out of their thoughts, and looked at the children in their arms. 

"With everything that's been going on...", Aleene started. "And since we thought we had two weeks to think...", Goldy gulped, sweating as he looked at Aleene. "We never got the chance to pick names for them...", they both finished, and the other two mothers sighed. "Well Mom, you said if you ever had another girl, you wanted to name her Comet, right? So she would be your little star? And comet means long-haired star, and she certainly has long ears!", Alice suggested, and the parents smiled. "Well, I guess that the little bunny here is now named Comet.", Goldy crooned, and Aleene purred. "And what about the boy?", Maggie asked, and Goldy smiled even wider. "What about Louis? It's cute.", Goldy suggested, and Aleene giggled. "I like it. Little Louis.", she cooed, and then Louis began to cry, which upset Comet, who's eyes went dark with a golden, glowing speck midst the void in her eyes.

"Well, we'll let you two get to know them.", Maggie said, and she left. Alice was about to follow, when Aleene stopped her. "Wait, Alice, you can stay if you want, it's your little brother and sister after all.", Aleene chirped. Alice smiled. "Alright. But after I get Blue Belle.", Alice said, and she raced to go get the croc. She found her in her room, reading a book. "Hey Belle!", Alice smiled, and Belle looked up from her reading, and smiled back. "Hiya Alice! What's up?", the black croc asked, and Alice giggled. "Mom and Dad want you to see our new little brother and sister.", the cat purred, and Belle followed her to their parents' room. When they walked into the room, they were greeted with warm smiles from their parents. "Hey. The babies are sleeping, so keep it down a bit.", Goldy whispered, and both Belle and Alice nodded, and walked over. Aleene was holding Louis, and Goldy was holding Comet. 

Belle squealed quietly when she saw the adorable infants. "Aww, what are their names?", Belle asked, and Goldy chuckled. "The girly in my arms is Comet, and the little boy in Aleene's arms is Louis.", Goldy crooned. "Can I hold one?", Belle asked, and Aleene nodded, handing her Louis. Belle cooed at the small infant, who sneezed, going cross-eyed trying to make sense of Belle's species.

The family laughed, and they enjoyed each other's company
