Chpt. 24 (The Proposal)

Fenix was talking with Lucky about getting ready to propose to Maggie. "Well, you kind of caught me off guard when you asked me to help you propose. I was expecting you to ask Howl or something, not me. I mean, she is my mom after all.", Lucky commented, untangling white outdoor Christmas lights. Fenix chuckled. "Nah, Howl's busy with his kids, and since Horus is a little occupied, you're the one I trust the most right now. I would have asked Aleene but she has an appointment with Dr. Blossom. So does Goldy, he got a little shaken up when Horus busted his chest open. And Jake said his eye might never properly heal now that Spectrum scratched it. He scratched the cornea, and now whenever he opens his eye its the creepy black and white speck thing he has going on.", Fenix noted, and Lucky frowned. "Man, that sucks. Uncle Goldy is really nice, and he's been through so much already! I mean, he actually died years ago.", Lucky whistled, and Fenix raised an eyebrow. "Seriously? He died? How?", the tiger asked, and Lucky continued to untangle the lights as he talked. "Oh, well he was dating Shay a long time ago. And then Uncle Horus came by, I can't remember why though, and Shay had sex with him, and then took off with him. Uncle Goldy was heart broken, and furious. He had given her a necklace with a piece of his core in it after all. But, he had pushed her to have sex with him for a long time. Then he was a jerk, saying Shay was 'his'. Uncle Goldy says he gets it from Bonnie, his dad. Then FJ killed him, and he was dead for about 8-9 months. When he woke up, Golden Freddy, who he thought was his dad at the time, was dead, killed by Horus. He wanted revenge on Horus, and to get Shay back. So... he tried to... do things to Shay without her consent.", Lucky sighed, and Fenix gaped.

"Are you sure that was Goldy?", his father asked, and Lucky nodded. "I know right? He certainly changed for the better. Then Aunt Shadow caught him and tortured him, Uncle Horus told her to stop, she realized what she did, and took off, running to a bridge. Uncle Horus found her, and comforted her. Then the bridge started to break, and Uncle Horus threw Aunt Shadow off of the bridge, as well as his lucky charm, and fell with the bridge.", Lucky explained, and Fenix was wide-eyed. "No one ever told me about that!", the tiger said, and Lucky chuckled. "Yeah. They found his arm not long afterwards. They assumed him dead, and buried the arm. Then, someone broke into the repair room, and stole stuff! And then ran off. Uncle Cooper ran after them, and caught up with them. He found out that it was a girl, and can you guess what her name was?", Lucky asked, and Fenix thought for a moment. "Jennifer?", he asked, and Lucky rolled his eyes. "It was Aunt Lola, Dad! She said she needed the parts for a friend who was hurt, so he let her take them, saying he would bring food, because she was very thin and lived in an abandoned building. When he did, she introduced him to her friend. Who was named what, Dad? Guess!", Lucky challenged, and Fenix rolled his eyes. "Umm... Steve?", he asked, and Lucky face palmed. "It was Uncle Horus! He had a robotic arm made from the parts Aunt Lola stole, so Uncle Cooper brought them both back home, and then there was a happy reunion, and they all lived happily ever not really. Cause there was more chaos and stuff, and that was way before I was born! But you know what's cool?", Lucky asked, and Fenix smiled. "You?", Fenix chirped, and Lucky smiled, "Well yeah, but that's not the answer I was looking for. The awesome stories Uncle Horus, Aunt Shay, Aunt Shadow, Uncle FJ, and every one else tell stories of their fights and victories! Its so cool!", Lucky squealed, and Fenix chuckled. 

"So is the story you just told me your favorite one?", the tiger asked, and Lucky shook his head. "Nope. The one about how Aunt Aleene beat up Uncle Horus when he started to go down a dark path is my favorite.", Lucky began to grow frustrated with the lights. "Wait- That wasn't a joke!? That actually happened!?", Fenix gaped, and Lucky nodded. "Oh yeah, according to Mom, Horus talked back to her and insulted Grandpa Azul, so she went head to head with him. An actual fight. Mom says that I should've seen the look on Uncle Horus' face when he realized he was losing! And when it was over, Uncle Horus was ashamed that he couldn't beat Aunt Aleene, so Aunt Aleene kicked him in the back of the head lightly, and said that he could get up and keep visiting us, but he was not allowed to talk to her like that again. Mom said that Grandma Alena was so proud of Aunt Aleene. And then Uncle Horus was always the nice guy. At least at our house. Anywhere else he was still a jerk. But Aunt Aleene actually beat him! That's awesome!", Lucky smiled, and Fenix chuckled. "Well, props to her, that's impressive.", he said. "You ready to go?", Lucky asked, and Fenix nodded. "Yep. Lets go!"
