*One Week Later*

Belle felt empty. Nothing could make her feel better, and anything could make her feel worse. Her son was gone, her brother was gone, her sunshine was gone.

She looked out the window, admiring the rainy weather. It was the only thing that kept her from bursting into tears, as it seemed like the world was crying for her.

Suddenly, a slamming was heard from the front door, and everyone turned to see who it was.

A tall, menacing figure wearing a dark cloak walked in and looked around.

Neltharion walked up to the figure with his hammer, and he heated it up with fire. "Who are you and what do you want?", he asked, the entire family in the room wearing black, as both Quill and Pluma were pronounced dead that morning, and the funeral was to be held tomorrow.

The figure took off it's hood, and everyone gasped.

An egg white crocodile with cornflower blue eyes smiled fondly at his family. "What's up with the dreary fashion? This is a time to celebrate!", he said, lifting up his cloak to reveal both Pluma and the penguin.

"Mom!", Pluma exclaimed, running into Belle's arms. "My baby! Oh my sweet, sweet baby you're safe oh my God you're safe...", Belle cried, holding onto Pluma as tight as she could.

The little penguin dropped to the floor and looked up at Quill, who had dark rings under his eyes, darker than any alpha's ever would be. "Mister? Are you okay?", he asked, and Quill smiled at him. "Yep. It's just good to see... my family... again...", the croc sighed, passing out on the floor, over two weeks without sleep finally taking the reptile down.

"Mister? Mister!? Mister please wake up! Please!", the little penguin begged, and Pluma walked over to the little bird to calm him down. "It's okay kiddo, he's just tired. He hasn't slept for a long time.", Pluma assured, and Alice rushed over to Quill before sobbing over him, and both Howl and Yowl doing the same.

Aleene and Horus walked over to Pluma and the penguin, looking confused. "Pluma, who's this?", Aleene asked, and Pluma smiled. "This is a friend that Uncle Quill made when he was tracking me! He used to live at the orphanage that I lived in, and he was bullied too! Just like Mom and Uncle Quill he doesn't like his old name, so we don't call him by it. Uncle Quill doesn't even know it.", Pluma explained, and Aleene smiled. "Well welcome to the family. I'm going to call Mrs. Blossom and tell her you're alright, and tomorrow we'll have one of us sent over to sign your papers so we can adopt you.", Aleene said, but the little penguin didn't listen. He was too worried about Quill.

"Is there a name you'd like to be called by? As you don't like your old name?", Pixie asked, and the penguin thought for a moment. "Just call me Kiddo. I've been called that ever since I met Mister, so call me that.", the penguin said, and the cat smiled. "Whatever you say, Kiddo.", she said, and both Fenix and Lucky began to move Quill into his bed.

The little penguin looked at his flippers before watching Alice walk off to the kitchen by herself. He followed her quietly. She towered over him just like Quill or anyone else did, but he didn't care. He gently tugged on her dress, and she looked down to see him.

"Hi little guy.", she picked up Kiddo and put him on the counter, looking him in the eyes. "What's up?", she asked, and Kiddo sat down. "I wanted to tell you that Mister has some injuries that you need to look at. He got hurt on his tail by the mean man, and on his head too. He never cleaned them I don't think, he used the medicine box on Pluma instead of himself. They look big and red, so you'll see them.", Kiddo said, and Alice nodded. "Thanks, I'll go tell Maggie right now.", she said, placing Kiddo back on the floor.
