The next morning, Aedda woke up in an empty bed. Embarrassed that she fell asleep, she shot up and slowly made her way towards the door. Once out of the room, she looked around, hearing Min Hee's giggling from the kitchen. She paced towards the front door, only to be stopped by someone grabbing her wrist."And where do you think you're going?" Jungkook spun her around, only to realise it was a bad idea because they were too close, either way he didn't budge. Instead, he chuckled; seeing that that the girl was now facing his chest and her cheeks were a bright red.
"Home. I'm going home. I'm sorry for causing trouble, goodbye." Aedda stepped back, only to see now that Min Hee has also joined them in the corridor. "Unnie is going already?" Min Hee pouted, "but, I want to play more. Come on, let's eat breakfast!"
And that's how Aedda found herself eating the full-of-hate waffles, except there seemed to be less hate than the pancakes. Aedda listened to Min Hee talking about the dream she had, which was full of unicorns with glasses reading dictionaries.
"We should go out, unnie. Can we go out today, please?" Min Hee, once again, pouted. Aedda thought for a moment, only to realise she had nothing to do today. Her brothers have told her that they were going to go to another meeting today, and tomorrow they were leaving. Aedda nodded, receiving a cheerful response from Min Hee.

They decided to go to the market, since Aedda has never been to the market in Busan before. Once the trio got there, Aedda and Min Hee were filled with excitement. They went stall to stall, greeting the ahjussis and ahjummas on the way. Jungkook laughed at their behaviour, the age difference seemed to not be a problem for the girls at all. They walked around more, eating the food they bought from some stalls, until they reached the end and found a toy shop. Min Hee squealed, running inside. Aedda and Jungkook followed. Aedda looked at the stuffed animals, stopping at the little key rings. She specifically looked at the monkey key ring, it was her favourite animal because everyone used to pick on her saying how she resembled a monkey. Aedda smiled to herself, letting out a chuckle, grabbing Jungkook's attention. He walked behind her, suddenly curious at what she was looking at.
"Why don't you just buy it?" He asked, startling the girl. Aedda turned around, blushing at the fact that they were too close. "No, it's okay. It just reminded me of my friends, I don't need it." She smiled, placing the key ring back and walking towards Min Hee.
They continued walking around, until Min Hee started ranting about her hunger. They decided to go to a restaurant near their location. Jungkook, weirdly, agreed to pay for the meal. Once their food came, Min Hee asked Aedda to feed her. The meal was quiet, with Min Hee mumbling something with her mouth full and Jungkook telling her to swallow before she speaks. Jungkook watched as Aedda wiped Min Hee's mouth, unconsciously smiling to himself. He never would've guessed Aedda was such a kind person; he thought she was only doing this to get his attention, but it seems he was wrong. He had no idea what this girl had in her head and it scared him.
The day was beginning to get darker, so the trio called it a day and went back to heir apartments. Aedda was greeted by her parents and twin brother; whilst Jungkook put Min Hee to bed and crashed on his own. The time he spent with Aedda flashed in his mind and he no longer could deny the smile that formed on his face. He could no longer say that the summer wasn't going to be fun without his friends.
