Jungkook's babysitter

New Anger

Aedda's eyes fluttered opened when she heard glass shatter. Shouting was heard from somewhere, and she realised what has happened to her. I must've passed out, where am I? Her thoughts didn't have time to process, because a smack was heard from the the other room. Aedda quickly got out of bed, ignoring the shooting pain in her head. She rushed to the door and peaked through it; she saw Jungkook on the floor, his lip bleeding. Baekhyun grabbed his collar and neared to his face, before roughly letting go. Jungkook slid back to the floor, his expression blank.

Baekhyun yelled, "you promised this wouldn't happen again! Why are you always the one hurting the girls I fall in love with?!" Aedda's eyes never left Jungkook's, who lifted his and stared into hers. He smirked, shook his head and got up. Aedda gasped, is this all because of me? The door slammed and she hurried back to the bed she was on. Some movement was heard, before Baekhyun opened the door and stopped when he saw Aedda sitting up; her eyes looked terrified, it hurt him.

Baekhyun sighed, "how are you feeling?"

Aedda smiled, "good. Confused, but good."

"What are you confused about?" Baekhyu asked, since this was the first time his best friend actually admitted the feeling.

"About everything; why did those girls beat me up? Why were you and Jungkook beating each other up? How come I never heard about the girls you fell in love with?" Aedda stopped, trying to think of any more questions, but none popped up.

Baekhyun sighed, "I don't think I should be the one telling you this, but here goes nothing. You see, when I moved away, I had no friends here. There was only one person that would talk to me. Her name was Li Bora. She was nice and soon we became friends, then I started to realise I had feelings for her. What I didn't know though, was that she liked someone else. It was actually the guy that just slammed my door. When I found out they were dating, I couldn't do much but support them. Later on, Bora started to receive threats, just like you did. However, unlike you, she was aware of them. She became scared and soon it became so bad, she moved to America with her aunt. That's one of the reasons I hate Jeon Jungkook." He clenched his fist, looking over to the shocked girl.

Aedda looked up and put her hand on his fists, calming him down. "It's okay, it wasn't his fault. If anything, it was only the people who sent the threats fault."

Baekhyun gave out a chuckle, "and this is another reason. Even if it is his fault, no one blames him and he can just live on with his life," he breathed in, unclenching his fists and playing with Aedda's fingers, "but, there's nothing I can do now. If I wouldn't have left then maybe, I would be the one you fall for instead of him."

Aedda looked at her best friend confused, what is he talking about? Did I fall for Jungkook? There's no way I could, right?
