A/n: So this is really just a random chapter, I mainly wrote it  as a setup for what I have planned for like the next chapter or the one after! Hope you enjoyed at least :D

Victoria sat in the common room with her knees put to her chest, she watched as Ron's older twin brothers, Fred and George. Discuss their next plan, or prank as everyone else would call it.

She found them very intriguing, and she liked them despite their attempt to get her to try a mysterious sweet. Which Ron immediately told her not to try, and to never trust anything that they tried to give her.

What was wrong with the sweet? Victoria did not know, but she had a feeling that she should listen to Ron, especially now that she was listening to them plot their next prank on some students.

“How do you two think of these things?” she question, resting her head on her knees and still observed them curiously “Just listening to you is like watching two masterminds at work.” added Victoria.

The twins grinned and looked over at Victoria as she said that “Don't encourage them, they are already do it enough.” said a voice from behind Victoria. She had to bite her lip to keep from laughing.

Victoria was starting to become glad that she came to Hogwarts, she liked the people she was meeting, and she enjoyed the company of the Weasleys she's met “We have our ways, little blondie.” said Fred, still grinning.

Upon hearing the nickname, Victoria raised her eyebrows “Little Blondie?” She repeated, trying not to giggle at the nickname “What kind of nickname is that?” she asked, a smile tugging onto her lips.

George shrugged “Well, you are small.” He began, gesturing towards her, she was one of the shorter first years that Gryffindor got “And you are obviously blonde.” he continued, as trying to show her how obvious it was.

“Right.” snickered Victoria, she didn't quite get the twins. But she was willing to get to know them to figure them out, in the short time she knew them, they already had her trying not to laugh, something that she hasn't done in a while.

People seemed to like them and their joking ways, expect for the prefect, who Victoria was sure was their brother. But she couldn't seem to remember his name, no matter how hard she tried.

Victoria laid back on the couch and stared at the ceiling, the voices of the people in the common room slowly drowned out. Her mind began to wander to the classes she had and the ones she still had coming up.

She wasn't sure what class she liked the most, all she could think about was the one class she hated so far, purely because of who taught it, Potions. It wasn't something she was looking forward to, plus it was with Slytherin.

There was one class that Victoria was both excited and dreading, she wasn't sure what feeling was stronger. She had Flying with Slytherin as well, she was excited for the fact that she got to learn to fly, but she hated the fact that it would be with Slytherin.

It wasn't just Professor Snape that Victoria didn't like, it wasn't him that made her detest Slytherin. In fact, she was sure that after a while, a long while, that she would be able to stand Professor Snape, just not anytime soon.

The sole reason why Victoria couldn't stand Slytherin, was none other than Draco Malfoy. She didn't think that she could hate anything as much as she hated him, most of the time she wasn't sure why she hated him so much.

Whenever she was around Draco, which was a lot more than she would care to be, Victoria just felt pure hatred towards him. But at the same time, there was no way she could act on that hatred, at least not without getting into trouble.

Luckily for Victoria, she wasn't the only one who held the hatred towards him, Harry did as well. Harry had confessed to her that he hated Draco more than he hated Dudley, something that Victoria didn't think was possible.

There must be something wrong with Draco if he was able to make Harry hate him more than he hated Dudley, someone he has dealt with his entire life from the sounds of it. And she knew how Dudley was, from how much she had to deal with him mainly during the summer time.

Her mind drifted to the summer her and Harry met, they weren't exactly close for the first two weeks, but after they got used to the fact that they were both alike, even if they couldn't explain it. They were barely apart, expect for the times Harry couldn't be outside, or was in trouble.

They sometimes snuck away during the night, when they were sure their families were asleep and talked. Sometimes in their backyards or sometimes at the nearby playground, they would also try to figure out how they were different.

Then the summer after they met, exactly a year before everything fell to pieces for Victoria, they made a promise, one they weren't plan on breaking. They promised to never leave each other, to always stick together.

Victoria never forgot the promise, it made her feel like they would always be friends, no matter what happened. And after she got her letter, it was the only thing that got her through the period between the letter and Hogwarts.

But because of that, Victoria was afraid. She was afraid for the day where everything will change even more, where things will fall apart more than it already seemed to in her life.

Where she will lose Harry, that he wouldn't want to be her friend anymore for whatever reason, or something will bring them apart. She didn't want to lose the one person that was helping her get through this, the one person she felt like she could help get through it too.

Victoria tried to shake the thoughts off, she knew she had to stop thinking like that, but she couldn't exactly help it. She wished there was a way that she could easily stop thinking about it, but there was no way she could think of to stop it.

With a Victoria slowly got up from the couch “I'm going to bed, night George, night Fred.” she said, giving them a small wave. The sooner that she could get to bed then the sooner she can get the flying class over.

And the sooner she could get that over, then the less she would have to deal with Draco, which was a very good thing to her. But for now, all she could worry about is how not to want to kill him during class...
