A/n: this chapter is kinda sucky, so, sorry about that.
Victoria's eyes scanned the shops that lined the cobble street, she was waiting for someone, but she had no idea who exactly. All she was told was to wait for a man named Rubeus Hagrid, and the person who brought her to this new place disappeared after mumbling about something important that had to be done.
Biting down on her lip nervously, Victoria thought about her family, how her father forbade her to go to the school. How only with the help of her mother she was able to go, and how her father absolutely refused to pay anything for her school items, her mother couldn't help there.
When the brick wall started to move, Victoria stared at it still in wonder from when she went through it around twenty minutes ago. Her eyes grew wide once the arch fully appeared "Harry."said Victoria in disbelief, then she looked at the man he was with and paled slightly.
Victoria had never seen someone so, so tall before, Harry looked around in amazement before responding "Victoria, you got in too" he stated, to busy looking around to even glance at Victoria. He found this place to be amazing.
"You two know each other?" asked the giant man, Victoria took a step back and nodded nervously. Victoria felt so short compared to him, and it made her feel a little comfortable, after all he looked to be at least 10 feet tall.
"Yes, sir." Victoria said softly and brushed her hair out of her face "We are neighbors." She explained and looked over and Harry "Why did you have to leave? I wanted to see you when you after you read your letter." she said with a tiny smile.
What confused Victoria is when asked Harry it seemed to slightly anger the giant man, but then he brushed it off "Do they not feed you two in that neighborhood?" the giant man asked, once he saw Victoria and Harry stand next to each other.
Victoria was just as small and petite as Harry, and nearly the same height as him, if not an inch or two taller. But Victoria was sure that it was normal for a girl to be that way, unlike Harry, he was awfully small for his age.
"We must be going, come along." the giant man said, once he and Harry took a couple of steps, the giant man looked back at Victoria "You too." He said, but Victoria just stared at him, a little unsure. Then realization crossed the giant's face "I forgot to introduce me self." he said "I'm Rubeus Hagrid, Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts, but you can call me Hagrid, everyone does."
After realizing that's who she was supposed to meet, Victoria slowly went to follow them " Why didn't you tell me you got a letter when you did?"" Harry asked Victoria, he would've thought that she would've told him when she got it.
Victoria looked at one of the distant shops and bit her lip slightly "Because I got in trouble with my father, he doesn't want me to go. He has barely said a single word to me since I got my letter in." She explained, before her eyes stopped on a shop called Eeylops Owl Emporium, seeing this made a smile form on Victoria's face, she has always loved owls.
" I wasn't allowed to get mine, uncle Vernon kept burning them or ripping them." Harry said with a frown, he was not too surprised his uncle wouldn't let him read his letter, with how they always treated him. But it did surprise Harry hearing that Victoria's father was acting that way since Victoria got her letter.
