Leia
As she stepped off the Royal Star, Leia breathed in the familiar scent of Felucia's exotic forests. Immediately, the memories of her first adventure to the strange planet flooded her mind. Everything from crashing onto the planet due to her brother's piloting, to being held hostage by Darth Midas, to escaping with Han and Obi-wan.
We had some good times. She thought blissfully as she unloaded supplies from the ship. Master Windu set down the last crate and breathed in relief. Suddenly, he seemed so much older. So much weaker. His strength seemed restored when he spoke again. "After we set up camp, we'll start our search of the area. We'll travel by night to stay hidden."
Maya was perched on the edge of a crate. She eyed him doubtfully. "If there's anything to hide from. Has Captain Rex arrived on Onderon yet?" She asked. Mace shook his head. "I can't get a signal to Onderon. Something is blocking the transmission." Maya rose slowly, her eyes curious and cautious at the same time. "On Onderon or on Felucia?"
Mace lowered his eyes, pondering the question. "We don't know," he admitted gravely. Leia sat cross-legged in the grass and closed her eyes. If a transmitter couldn't contact Luke's fleet, she knew what could. Her father had always said that when technology failed, the Force would always be your ally. Concentrating on her brother's position in relation to the rest of the galaxy, Leia felt as if the Force drew a path that connected her to him. After a moment of silence, his presence entered her thoughts.
Our communications are being blocked. Have you arrived on Onderon yet?
Luke's presence seemed to flicker in and out. As if their thoughts were being blocked just like the transmitter. A twang of concern passed over Leia as she held desperately to the last traces of her brother's thoughts.
Luke what's going on?
Leia, something isn't right here. I feel an odd amount of Force energy on Onderon. There's someone here...
Do you think it could be Midas?
Well who else would it be?
Leia paused for a moment. If Luke was right. If Midas was on Onderon, then she had to get there too. She couldn't let her brother face the Sith alone.
Well don't go getting into any legendary battles without me.
Leia something is happening. Something bigger than us- bigger than any of us. The galaxy is changing.
I feel it too. What are we going to do?
We need to...
Luke's voice softened until it completely faded away. Leia opened her eyes and shook her head. It was then that she realized all of the eyes on her. Mace Windu and Maya were both staring suspiciously at her. Maya knelt down beside her. "Leia what's wrong?" she asked softly.
Leia opened her mouth to speak but she choked on her words. She didn't know what was happening on Onderon and more importantly, what was happening to her brother. "I... No it's fine. I just..." she mumbled as she rose to her feet. She felt dizzy. Why was she lying? Things were not fine. They were very, very wrong. Leia turned toward Master Windu.
"I need to get to Onderon."
