Remember the day I borrowed your brand new car and dented it ?
I thought that you would have killed me , but you didn't.
Remember the time I dragged you to the beach, and you said it would rain and it did?
I thought you were going to say, "I told you so." But you didn't.
Remember the time I flirted with all those guys to make you jealous, and you were?
I thought you'd leave me, but you didn't.
Oh do you remember the time I spilled strawberry pie all over your car mat ?
I thought you'd hit me, but you didn't.
And remember the time I forgot to tell you the dance was formal and you showed up in jeans ?
I thought you would drop me , but you didn't.
Remember when you brought me on stage and said "Marry me when I come back from tour?"
There were lots of things you didn't do. But you put up with me, loved me ,and protected me.
There were lots of things I wanted to make up to you when you returned from tour.
But you didn't.
You said as you sat at Roc's grave just talking to him.
Do you remember when you said "I love you with everything in me?"
And I said it back.
"Yeah I remember." you heard Roc say. But it was just your imagination because he would never come back.
