Sanaya's P.O.V :-
Sanaya woke up late the next day. It was almost ten thirty a.m. and she was alone in her room. She went to have a shower, changed into a salwar suit, took a last look at herself in the mirror and walked out of the room. She saw Ajay coming out of his room too and after hesitating for a moment she called out,"Jay! " He turned and said, "Good morning, Sanaya. What is it?" She said, "Good morning. Could you please wait here for a moment? " He said, "Sure." Sanaya came out after five minutes with a box in her hand. She opened it and held out a ring in front of him. Jay held out his left hand and she slipped it onto his ring finger. To her immense relief, it fit him! To explain she said, "I have to wear so many things to signify that I'm married. It's only fair you wear a ring." He smiled and said, "Thank you. I don't mind wearing it. Let's go down, shall we? " Sanaya gave the ring box to him to keep in his pocket and they went downstairs in silence. Downstairs, breakfast was in full swing. Sanaya didn't really feel hungry but her mother and Ishani forced her to eat. She ate two idlis and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. They actually had nothing to do after breakfast except wait for her 'bidaai" or the moment when she would take her leave from her parents' house and step into Jay's house. Sanaya was dreading that moment. She would have to get into her bridal trousseau again and get decked up. She looked at her family laughing, eating and overall having a good time when all she felt was nothing. Her eyes caught sight of Jay and she momentarily caught her breath. He was laughing at something one of her cousin's said and he looked so sexy that she couldn't look away. His eyes suddenly met hers and she flushed at getting caught staring but she couldn't look away either. He looked straight into her eyes and she saw some emotion in his eyes that she couldn't name. She was brought out of her stance when her phone suddenly vibrated in her hands. She looked at the text and got busy with replying trying not to think about the moment she shared with her husband. She winced. She still couldn't accept that she had a husband. That she was married. It was overwhelming. It seemed as if everything happened so fast. She had an early lunch and both she and Ishani went to her room to get ready. Ishani would be accompanying her to her in laws house along with one of Sanaya's younger cousins. They would, however, return that night itself. Sanaya had avoided Jay for the rest of the morning and the afternoon. She didn't know what had prompted her to stare at him. She chided herself and focused on doing her make up. She could do it herself with a little help from Ishani. Finally, it was time for her departure. Sanaya's mood clouded over and she was again tied up to Jay. She already felt like crying but she fought hard to control her emotions. She finally lost control when she hugged her brother and he just hugged her back tightly. His brother handed her over to their father and she held onto her father tightly after she and Jay bent down to take his blessings. Her father patted her back and when she pulled back, she saw her father's eyes glistening with unshed tears. Sanaya started crying frantically when she hugged her mother and it took the joint efforts of her brother and Jay to separate them. Ishani and her cousin got into her car and Sanaya showered handfuls of rice behind her without looking back. She was holding it together but she let loose the moment they got into Jay's car. Jay was silent but grasped her hand and rubbed his thumb over her knuckles. Sanaya let him and he wordlessly handed her a box of tissues from the back of his car. When she finally composed herself after a few minutes and looked at him, she found him already looking at her. She gave him a small smile and he smiled back at her. They completed the rest of the journey in silence.
