I woke up and went to the grocery store to pick up a few things. I don't know why, but I stop and stare at something on the shelf. I'm completely distracted. I feel a tap on my shoulder. "Hello stranger." I would know that voice anywhere. I whip around, restraining myself from screaming in excitement. He smiles at me. I wrap my arms around him as he does me. I'm giggling the whole time. I'm so happy to see him! He pulls away from me and signals for me to do a 360°, so I twirl on my toes. "Wow..." He says in awe. His brown eyes sparkle. "You've changed a lot". I look down at what I'm wearing. "Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" I ask with a frown. From what I can see, its a turn for the worse. I'm in some old sweats and an old sweatshirt and some converse with my hair in a loose, messy bun and worse of all, barely any makeup at all. Not exactly what I would call 'better'. "I guess we'll find out..." He says with a smirk. I roll my eyes way too dramatically to be taken seriously. And it didn't help that I laughed right after either. He shook his head. "I can't believe we haven't seen each other in, like, 2 months. That hasn't happened since we were, like, seven." I look off into the distance. "Yeah...summer will do that to people." I respond awkwardly. I feel so bad that we've barely spoken in the last 2 months. I've just been so busy lately..... "Yeah...we're gonna have to fix that" "totally" I agree. He looks around. "I'm so sorry but I have to go." I frown. He hugs me for a long time. When he releases me he smiles that stupid smile. "It was nice seeing you Lucy" "You too. Love ya Dustin" "Love ya too Lucy"

Me: Hey babe wanna do something 2nite??
Him: No. Not 2nite. Not up for it 2nite
Me: wut's wrong?
Him: sorry can't. Nite
Me: I love you. Nite

Me: Babe?
