Chapter 4: First date, first talk

I kept my gaze on the ocean, "Well I just don't get why me? You could have had anyone of those girls that were probably prettier, funnier, smarter and maybe even sluttier?" He chuckled, "I wanted to know why you weren't noticing me other than a wave, then I saw you up close and realized you're gorgeous. Then I actually wanted to know you, not why you didn't want to know me. Then you wouldn't hang out with me which definitely got my attention. And I don't want a girl that's easy to get I like a challenge." He paused for a moment and looked at me and said, "I could have had any girl I wanted but I want you." I really wasn't sure what to say so I just let my thoughts flood my head. I hoped Jaden wasn't lying to me and then Alex crossed my mind and I got worried about her, I just didn't want her to do anything stupid. "What'd Justin say about Alex, at all? I need to know that he is interested in HER not something else," I said to Jaden. "Sorry to burst your bubble but Justin just wants to hit it and quit it. I mean he might call her and stuff but it won't last long," he looked at me, "You're a good friend Lexii. But Alex is gonna do what she is gonna do. She is 19" I looked him in the eye, "No. Alex will do what she is gonna do when a douche bag treats her right for a night. Then when he breaks her heart she'll feel like and idiot and be sad. know but she deserves the best." He shrugged and said, "Don't be worried. She can handle herself." I smiled at him and we walked a little longer when we decided to meet back up with them. Alex had 'sex hair' and I knew what happened. I whispered to Justin, "Just don't hurt her." He whispered back, "I honestly like her." If he is lying I WILL find out.

The boys took us home. I gave Justin a friendly hug and Alex did the same for Jaden. When I hugged Jaden he whispered in my ear, "Give yourself more credit than that. I'm sure you grab every guys attention. You are good enough for anyone. Maybe I'm not deserving of YOU." He pulled a way and winked at me. As I walked in I felt my cheeks get warm and I still had chills from feeling his breath on my skin.

Alex and I lied down in my room this time, we had so much to share. We grabbed soda, chips and cookies and sat there talking after we got ready for bed. Alex told me that Justin and her DID have sex. Ew. I told her about Jaden and I and she 'awwwwed.' I hope Justin doesn't break Alex's heart. But most of all, I hope Jaden doesn't break mine.
