Chapter 16: The fourth of July!

*Lexii's POV*

I woke up and everyone was downstairs. They were all looking ratchet as ever wearing shorts and they all had on matching T-shirts. They were pink with white splatter and black print that wrote "The crew" I laughed and they threw my a T-shirt. Justin said, "Go wake up Jaden and give him this shirt and get ready. We're only running to the firework stand though so don't take forever." I nodded and ran upstairs to wake Jaden up but he wouldn't move so I decided to do it in the meanest way possible. I got everyone to come up to our room and we all stood around him and screamed, "WAKE UP NIGGA!" and then jumped on him. He got up and then we both through on shorts and our T-shirts and some vans, apparently we had to wear these for the rest of the day. swag. Jaden and I came downstairs and we left. We bought like $300 worth of fireworks on top of what we already had. Scooter was gonna come up tonight and a few celebrities and people I've never heard of but I don't care. We came home and basically just chilled, cooked for later and went crazy. We all played freeze tag for about and hour and then hide and seek and it was absolutely crazy! People started coming over around 4 and we all just chilled, I met a few celebrities that were actually pretty cool and then we all just had dinner around 6. Then everyone started doing little fireworks that don't have to be done in the dark. Jaden and I were throwing the poppers at each others feet and shooting the confetti guns on each other. It was fun. Once it got dark we started on the pretty ones. I was doing a roman candle and Jaden came up behind me and held it with me. Then the guys would sit while the girls lit fire crackers and fountains and bottle rockets and the girls would sit while the guys did the big pretty ones and every time after he did one he would run and sit on my lap. It made me smile and I would laugh at the way she ran away. Then at like 1am Drake set off the finale ones so Jaden sat on my lap while we wrapped up in blankets and I peeked over his shoulder as he leaned into me. He smiled every time a really pretty one came out and I would kiss him on the cheek occasionally and when the night was over we said bye to everyone and went inside. I had such a fun time but we had to be up early tomorrow so I needed to go to bed. I was leaving tomorrow and this made me sad, I wasn't ready to go.. especially not now.

*Jaden's POV*

Lexii looked so cute doing fireworks and I could tell she had fun. We went to bed and I wasn't ready for her to leave me tomorrow. After we got ready for bed I asked Lexii, "So I was thinking maybe you could spend all of August with me since you're going back to school in September?" She smiled, "I'd like that." I was happy I'd have a whole month with her. But tomorrow is gonna be hard.
