Chapter 27: A talk

"Jaden... listen. I know you like Lexii a lot and she is a very nice young lady but I just want you to take your time with her." I just smiled and nodded even though I was actually disappointed in myself for not taking my time or telling him. I walked out and grabbed my skateboard. I was lying to my Dad! I needed to do some thinking. I ran out, jumped into the car and drove to the skate lab. When I got there I just skated and skated and skated. Lexii was blowing up my phone but I just ignored it. When she finally stopped I decided to check my phone. It was almost midnight and In had left at like 3-4! Had I really been doing that much thinking? She had called me and texted me so much... all the text were just that she was worried and needed to know where I was. I was honestly kind if pissed off at her and didn't want to talk to her. Its her fault that I'm dealing with this. I'm just gonna go driving around, clear my head.

*Lexii's POV*

So I came out with Willow and Will said Jaden left but Moi and Teo were still here. Weird? I didn't think anything of it til it got late and he wasn't answering. It was almost midnight when I started breaking down into tears. He wasn't answering any of us! Will and Jada were busy and Moi said we shouldn't say anything so we didn't. One in the morning rolled around and still no answers. Moi and Teo kept telling me to be patient, Willow was as worried as I am. I grabbed Teo's keys and ran for the door until he pulled me back and put me over his shoulder and threw me on the couch, "Lexii! Stop! You need to calm the fuck down and wait. Jaden isn't that type. He doesn't want attention, he is probably off thinking." I looked him dead in the eye, "Are you sure abut that? No. He could be in some dudes basement right now! Listen... if we go find him and he's safe then we'll let him think... but I'd rather be sure!" He just walked away. I started crying and then I got an idea. I ran and grabbed my phone and called Alex..

Alex: Lexii its fuc-

Me: Jaden is fucking gone. He ran off and he's been gone almost all day!

Alex: Oh my god

*Justin in the background:* Where'd he go!?

Me: Just... can I borrow you're car!?

Alex: You're not legal!!!

Me: I am well aware of that! I'm coming to get the car. Bye

I hung up and ran to grab a board. I told Willow where I was going and she told me to keep her updated. I nodded and boarded to Justin's. I ran in and they were sitting on the couch. Justin looked STRESSED to the max. He ran over to me and grabbed my hand, I could tell he was being very seriously. He put the keys in my name and said, "If you don't find him tonight we'll come out too." I just gave him a weak smile. Alex hugged me and told me to keep her posted. I ran out and jumped into Justin's Range Rover. I first drove to the skatelab and ran inside. The man was leaning against the counter and as soon as he saw me he just said, "He's not here hun. He was here all day and left around midnight." I just nodded and ran out. I knew that meant he had been doing some thinking or something but still. It was 2am now and he still wasn't answering anyone. I drove up to the park and got out of the car. It was getting pretty cold but I didn't care! I searched the entire park and called his name and still no answers. This is ridiculous! I decided I should try the beach. I jumped in the car, slipped my hoodie on and sped to the beach. FINALLY! I spotted Jaden's car parked and I saw what appeared to be his figure sitting by the shore. I didn't get out or make a sound, I just reached for my phone and texted Willow, Moi, Teo, Alex and Justin the same text "Found him! Should be back soon." It was almost 2:45am so I decided I needed to hurry. I probably looked like a hot mess! I had on some neon green vans, dark wash skinny bootcut jeans and the white MSFTS hoodie. The outfit wasn't so bad, but my hair was old messy curls and I had a bare face. (Just trying to paint a picture for you.)
