Chapter 3: Am I crazy?

Alex and I were completely taken back by this. I looked at him and said, "Well who are you? I don't hang out with people when I don't even know their name." They both looked stunned but then I winked. I held out my hand, "My names Lexii." Alex did the same. They all introduced themselves even though it was obvious, we didn't tell them that. I don't boost egos.

*Jaden's POV*

Lexii hadn't noticed me all day and Alex never noticed Justin. Lexii waved at me but her remark earlier had me shocked. It was funny of course but still. And I was expecting her to say that she knew who we were but she just smiled. I looked around and finally said, "So can we chill with you guys?" Lexii looked up at me and she was absolutely stunning. She wasn't wearing makeup, unlike Alex who Justin had his eyes on, and her eyes were perfect. Her long hair rested down her back and I just couldn't help but admire her beauty. I don't even know why we came over here, I mean I couldn't see that she was this beautiful earlier, maybe I just came over here since she hadn't noticed me but suddenly it was something more. Lexii spoke up, "Well we were about to get going to dinner but maybe we can make plans some other time?" This was weird, she was shutting me down, but leaving me wanting more. Was this to get me to chase her? Was she interested? I just didn't know but I had to figure this girl out, "Okay that sounds cool." She grabbed my phone which was already unlocked and left her number in it. "Text me to make plans," she smiled and with that they were gone. Justin and I were so confused. We always get the girls we want!

*Lexii's POV*

I wanted to hang with them then and there but I needed him to be interested in me so this was kind if the test. Alex looked at me, "Jaden likes you! And you shut him down! I'm gonna get me some of that Bieber though!" I had a smile playing on my lips, "You always leave them wanting more. Trust me, you will get you some Bieber if he's worth it." My phone started ringing but it was a private number, "Hello?" "Hey is this Lexii?" "Yeah, who's this?" "Jaden, from the beach." "Oh hey, why'd you call private?" "Because if you gave me a bogus number I wouldn't want my number out there." "Oh that makes sense." "Haha, yeah. Listen, Justin and I were wondering if you and Alex wanted to go out on a double date tomorrow?" "Oh yeah sure. I get to be Justin's date right?" "I-if.." I cut him off "I'm just kidding Jaden we would love too." "Okay, see you tomorrow around 6:00?" "Okay, bye." I looked at Alex and said, "Fuck dinner! We can grab some McDonalds and head to the mall! We got a date with Jaden and JB tomorrow!" "Alex and I ran in the house to change real quick, squealing and screaming! When I texted Jaden asking where we would go. He told me dinner and something peaceful afterwards. Alex and I decided to shop for dressy casual just to be safe!

*Jaden's POV*

Justin and I were shockingly surprised to our excitement for tomorrow. Lexii had a sick sense of humor, lots of sarcasm. It drove me wild. Justin and I found ourselves acting like highschool girls, choosing our outfits for tomorrow. What the fuck is wrong with me? It was getting late so Justin and I agreed on the plan, dinner and a walk on the beach. Then we went to bed.

*Lexii's POV*

Alex and I bought an outfit each and some extra things we saw and liked. I was so tired for no reason but I couldn't sleep. I walked into Alex's room and she was awake too, "Can I sleep with you?" She grinned and scooted over. It was just like our school days when we lied in bed talking about boys, drama and crap til we fell asleep.

I woke up super late! I checked my phone and it was 1:17pm! I wasn't mad though. That sleep was much needed. Its nice to devote a day to resting up, even if its a day wasted. I let Alex sleep til 2:00 but we needed 3 hours to get ready so I woke her up and we went to IHOP. By the time we got back it was a little after 3:00 so we both jumped in the shower. By the time we were actually able to start on our hair and stuff it was 3:45. I walked to the room and grabbed my outfit. I grabbed a sheer purple cropped tank top, black bandeau, black high waisted shorts, a white long but thick cardigan and my brand new white vans. I lied it out on my bed and went to straighten my hair. It was hanging over my shoulders to my waist and I just let it hang. I did light makeup but not much, just eye liner, mascara, some eye shadow and some chapstick. I got dressed, layered on the deodorant since I sweat when I'm nervous, and bathed in perfume. I wanted to give off a scent like he did. Is that weird? Oh well. I walked to Alex's room and watched her finish up her curls. I winked at her after saying, "Why Ms.Britt you look absolutely stunning." Then the doorbell rang. I looked at my phone, "Right on time." I opened the door and hugged Jaden and Justin. I welcomed them in and let them sit on the couch while I went to get Alex.

We rode over to the restaurant but it actually wasn't awkward. Jaden and I were in the front and Alex and Justin were in the back. I was flipping through his stations when the song 'Adorn by Miguel' came on. I began singing when Jaden interrupted, "Well you have an amazing voice. Just not as amazing as mine." I laughed, "Who said I was trying Smith?" He smirked at me pulling into the the parking lot. When the car came to a stop Jaden saw the paparazzi and looked at all of us, "Okay, Justin in the back, me in the front, girls in the middle, stay close and move fast." I jumped out getting behind Jaden and in front of Alex. Jaden grabbed my hand, leading me through the crowd of people. We got into the restaurant and Jaden had made reservations. We all sat and Jaden told me I looked pretty. I smiled and told him he looked nice. We ordered and while we waited for our food Jaden and I had an actual conversation while Alex and Justin sat over there being very touchy. Alex had a tendency to go into whore mode for any guy that treated her right so I kicked her under the table and gave her 'The-Look.' Alex was a fun girl and was kind of wild but I wouldn't watch her be taken advantage of. Jaden and I mostly talked about why we were in Tampa, sports, school, anything and everything. After dinner we all headed off to the beach and it was pretty empty. We split up in pairs and I really didn't want to leave Alex but whatever she did was on her. Jaden and I were walking side by side and I was starring off at the water and my mind wondered off. I don't think Jaden was talking but all I had thought about was, "Why me? All the girls in the world he chose me? I needed answers but not on the first dat- "What are you thinking about," Jaden said catching my gaze. "Nothing," I said with a smile. Before I knew it I was over his shoulder being hovered over the water, "What was that?" "Nothing Jaden put me down!" "If you say so," he chuckled lowering me to the water. "Fine I'll tell you!" We walked to the sand and we sat down.. how do I say this?
