Chapter 13: Date?

I woke up and left Jaden there, I wrote him a note that told him I had to prep our date and to be ready at 5:00 sharp and that there would be a driver waiting in the drive way. I went and made a scavenger hunt type of thing for him to follow. By the time I was done I got ready, I dressed for dressy casual and texted him, "Don't dress too fancy. It won't be super special." He texted back, "What are we doing?" I just didn't answer.

*Jaden's POV*

Well I knew Lexii had something planned by her note this morning. I went on about my day and started getting ready after I got her text. The driver came at 5 sharp and when I got in he gave me a note it read, "Our drink? Go there." I had him take me to Starbucks and when I went in they gave me the drink Lexii and I always shared with a note that read "Good. Now where did we first meet? This will be hard because you have to think of something from that place." I knew it was the beach but what do they have at the beach? Beach volleyball... which her and I played. I knew that probably meant I needed to get one. I walked into the beach shack and they gave me a beach volleyball with another note, "Nice going. Our last minute cheesy date?" Next stop, McDonalds. I went in and a strange man handed me a magazine that had Lexii on my back and inside was a short note, "You're good. The picture says it all. Good luck on this." I sat in the car and finally guessed it. Justin's concert... concerts here were held at the arena... TO THE ARENA! I walked in and there was a sign, "Yesterday." I knew that one right off the bat. We drove to the park and there was a piece of paper where we had been sitting. It read "These were a few if our memories so now let's make some more... You've been wanting to see World War Z right? Well here..." This was written on an envelope and in the inside were 2 tickets to the movie so I had the driver take me to that theater. Lexii was standing there waiting and I was just in time. "You did it," she chuckled as she kissed me. It was even better than before. We went in and she said we were going to fizolis later for dinner. The movie was great and then we went. We shared a plate of spaghetti which was absolutely hilarious. She was trying to do the Lady and the Tramp thing, it was adorable. Unfortunately we never shared a noodle. It was getting pretty late and I had to leave tomorrow morning. We went back to her house and curled up under her sheets. The funny thing about her and I is that when we fall asleep we don't exactly cuddle. She just wraps her legs around me and I just sleep, we aren't the regular couple. I love how when we hang out she calls me ugly and I do it back, we're different and I like it.

*Lexii's POV*

I woke Jaden up and we both took a quick shower before I took him to the airport. Mom drove us up there and the whole ride was silent. I didn't want him to go, especially not now! While we waited for his flight to be called he just wrapped his arms around me with his head on my shoulder and we sat hand it hand. For once I held my lips to the top if his head and we just sat there, I knew he was crying and I was trying really hard not to. Once they called for him we walked to the gate, he gave me a bear hug and I cried in his chest, I wasn't going to but hearing his sobs in my ear and feeling his breath on my cheek just broke my heart. I'd see him soon but I didn't want him to leave. I do love Jaden, I wasn't in love with him but I loved him and cared for him and I knew I'd miss him. I held him til they called the last call he pulled his lips from the top if my head and kissed me. In between the kiss he smiled and when I pulled away he whispered, holding his face close to mine, "I'll love you like I'm still trying to win you." I reached up to his ear and whispered, "A promise is a promise." He hugged me one last time and I broke down in tears. He walked away and I broke inside like it was Florida all over. Once I got home I just cried and cried and cried.

*Jaden's POV*

I cried on the plane, the entire ride. I got off and my Dad and manager were waiting for me. I hugged them and we talked on our way to the car, Dad was proud that I got the girl and my manager said that it was the perfect timing so people would stop thinking I'm with Kylie. Dad told me that I could see her soon and the whole family would get to meet her. Had he known I'd been crying? Maybe it was the red circles around my eyes. Kylie and I haven't really talked since I met Lexii. I couldn't wait for the boys and the fam to meet her too. Kylie was still a MSFT and Lexii was cool with it but I still didn't talk to her. Teo and Moi were so siked to meet her and to finally see Chela and Amber. I just wanted to lay in bed til the 1st came. Maybe I would feel better soon.

*Lexii's POV*

I haven't really done much these past few days, I'm still kind of sad. I sleep most of my days away, write poetry or just chill just so the first comes closer. Jaden's coming out with a new song, I'm proud of him. He calls me almost every night and it kind of hurts just to hear his voice. Only three more weeks to go. Hopefully I can do it.
