Chapter 20: Oh Gosh

*Lexii's POV*

I got home late that night and brought home some Starbucks for Mom and I, we needed to talk. I woke Mom up and told her we needed to talk. She followed me to the living room and we sat in the couch drinking our drinks and she started, "So how did it go? Did you surprise him?" "It went good. He was so happy and he loved the pink jogger I got him." She chuckled, "Good." I got serious and stated, "Mom... Jaden and I had sex." She seemed calm when I said this... like she had been prepared my whole life for this conversation and like she was ready. Ever since I was 10 I had always said I would wait til marriage and she always told me that was a good goal but she doubted it and that she trusted that when I did do it, he would be a good choice. "I'm disappointed Lexii... but I saw it coming, I saw you falling for him and I saw that it would happen soon. I'm glad you know the guy well and blah blah and of course I wish you would've waited but there is only one thing I'll ask you that nobody ever asked me. Do you regret it?" I had tears in my eyes, I was happy she approved of Jaden but I was disappointed with myself. I looked up and said, "I don't regret who I did it with... but I do regret the timing. I'm glad it was Jaden but I wish I would've waited." "And I KNOW you used protection." "Of course." "Okay Lexii. We'll You're grounded for a week and I'm hoping that just because you guys did it doesn't mean its gonna become a regular thing." "Okay Mom. Thank you. Love you, goodnight. Just don't tell the family, Okayy?" She nodded and I went to bed.

*Jaden's POV*

I wasn't gonna tell my parents. I was too scared of my Dad. I decided I'd call Lexii and talk to her for a little.

Lexii: Hello?

Me: Hey

Lexii: Hey

Me: Whatcha doiiiiin?

Lexii: About to head to bed. You?

Me: Just thinking

Lexii: About me? Aw, how sweet.

Me: Haha yeah.

Lexii: Guess what Jay!

Me: What?

Lexii: Only 22 more days!

Me: I can't wait to see your ugly face again!

Lexii: I can't wait to see yours either.

We both wrapped up the conversation and hung up. I loved her... too much for my own good.
