Chapter 8: This night...

*Jaden's POV*

Our date was going to be so basic but in the good kind of way. Lexii told Alex and we said goodbye to everyone then I called a car. Lexii and I had been in such a good mood. Like when you get really giggly for no reason, we were like that. Just when the car arrived we notice there were paparazzi blocking us and tons of Justin's fans behind them. We were still laughing when I told Lexii to jump on my back. She smiled and jumped on my back, she was so light. We were laughing and smiling as we ran through the paparazzi and I touched a few hands of the fans. I heard the paparazzi asking if she was my girlfriend but we ignored. When we got in the car we just looked at each other and started dying of laughter. I told the driver the destination in his ear and he took us there. When we pulled into the parking lot Lexii had a huge grin on her face and I think she knew exactly what this date was for and why we were here, "Well come on! I'm dying for a McChicken," she smiled. I told the driver to wait for us and we ran in. I was having so much fun with her, the way she laughed was just perfect and how we were having fun doing nothing. We walked into the McDonalds and we sat and ate. "So why did you just have to take me on a date at 12am to McDonalds," she chuckled. "I wanna know we can have fun and not have to be doing anything. I like being able to laugh and hang out with you and take you on late and spontaneous dates," I smiled. She just nodded and after a little silence she smiles and says, "You have to come see me in August so we can go to the fair together." "Okay, and I'll come in June to visit you and July and then I'll come again in August," I laughed. She smiled and we went back to the car. I took her back to the beach in front of her house and we just walked and talked. She was going to be here for the rest of the month, which was only a week and 2 days. I was leaving like the day after her which made it perfect. It was around 2am and I figured I needed to take her home. I told her she was staying the night with me in my hotel on her last night and she said that was fine with her. I was so happy on the inside I couldn't wait. I gave her a big hug and she kissed me on the cheek and went inside. My face got hot and I knew that Lexii would have to be mine soon.

*Lexii's POV*

I walked in and Alex wasn't home. I threw my keys on the table and texted her:

Me: Hey where are you?

Alex: Out with Justin, I won't be home til tomorrow morning when Justin has to go to do a bunch of interviews.

Me: Okay then I'm just gonna invite Jaden, have Justin pick him up tomorrow on his way to the interviews.

Alex: Okay, love ya bby(;

Me: Love ya too! Stay SAFE hot stuff(;

I texted Jaden and had him come over and he was here in like 30 minutes. I told him that Justin was going to pick him up tomorrow when he drops Alex off. He smiled, "So why'd you invite me?" "Well Alex is gone and its 2:30am and I'm in a rental beach house all alone. Why would I want company," I chuckled. "Well let me show you around and show you your room," I said pulling him along. I showed him the living room which also revealed the kitchen. Then we walked down the long hallway which had a half bath on the right, a hallway closet under the stairs on the left and a laundry room at the end of the hall. We went back down the hall and up the stairs. There was an open loft area and then a room on each side. My room, where I would let Jaden sleep, was on the left and Alex's on the right. He asked, "Why can't I sleep with you?" He looked some what offended. "I'm sorry. Well I'm gonna get ready for bed and you can shower if you want, towels are under the sink. Wake me up in the morning before you go," I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and went to Alex's room. I heard the shower start running and I slowly drifted off.

*Jaden's POV*

Lexii was so adorable. I couldn't help but think about our day together, or how we had laughed all day long. She made me smile just by thinking about her. I jumped in the shower so I didn't have to wake up early tomorrow. When I got out I slipped into just some basketball shorts and went to bed. I started thinking about Lexii and how she doesn't feed my ego, or talk about my fame, or care about it, or worry about all that stuff, she just treated me like a normal person and I loved it. Her bed smelled just like her, is that creepy? I started drifting into sleep when I heard somebody, and I knew exactly who it was. "Jaden, I'm scared. I had a bad dream that somebody broke in. Can I sleep with you?"

*Lexii's POV*

I had a terrible dream. I woke up hot and sweaty with my clothes sticking to me. I slipped into some shorts and a T-shirt instead and tried to go back to sleep. I couldn't! How am I gonna make it through tonight? I checked my phone and it was 4am and Jaden had to leave at 11. Jaden? I got up with one of my smaller blankets and walked across the loft to see Jaden asleep,"Jaden, I'm scared. I had a bad dream that somebody broke in. Can I sleep with you?" He rolled over and rubbed his eyes then just gave me a sleepy, "Sure." I climbed in bed and just lied there. I felt his arms around my waist but I was too tired to care. I woke up again in the middle if the night but we weren't cuddling. My legs were just wrapped in his, I was a leg cuddler in my sleep.

*Jaden's POV*

I woke up to Lexii's legs wrapped around mine? Weird. She looked so cute. I slowly and carefully unwrapped her legs with success and then got ready. Justin and Alex were here so I ran into Lexii's room and woke her up, "Lexii. Alex is here and I'm about to head out. I'll text you after my first interview." She just said, "Mhm," and smiled lightly. I kissed her on the forehead and she reached up to hug me. I smiled. I passed Alex on the stairs and left.

*Lexii's POV*

I woke up and heard Alex walk into her room. I let her sleep but when she woke up it was story time! She walked in my room and I was just playing on my phone, "So what'd you do?" She walked over to me and when she said what did my jaw dropped and my eyes widened. I couldn't believe it.
