Chapter 17: Goobye again

*Lexii's POV*

Jaden woke me up this morning and I really didn't wanna go. I drug myself out of bed and threw on a white MSFTS hoodie and some black shorts. I did my morning routine and loaded up the car. We still had 15-20 minutes left while everyone else got ready so Jaden and I sat in the bed. He lied back between my legs and I put my head in the space of his neck. "I'm gonna miss you Lexii." "Jaden, don't do that." "Do what?" "You make it so much harder." "I'm sorry, I just like being with you." "I know you'll miss me. I'll miss you too. I'm gonna miss waking up to your ugly face, hugging you, kissing you, holding your hand, getting piggy back rides, being rudely awaken and most of all... you in general." "Lexii stop." His voice cracked and I knew he was crying, I hated that. I reached my hand to his face and wiped his tears... then I started crying. He turned to face me and I buried my head in his chest. He stroked me hair and slightly rocked back and fourth as I mumbled, "I'm just gonna miss you so much." He grinned as he pulled away and raised my chin towards him and then kissed me lightly but meaningful and then he whispered "I love you." A tear escaped from my eye as I said it back.

*Jaden's POV*

I hate when Lexii and I have to split up. I don't care how long we've known each other or how long we've been dating, it's not about time, its about what happens in that time. I do love Lexii. Am I in love with her? I don't think so but I know I love her. Leaving her this time is hard but I'm sure leaving her after a month with be harder.

We drove the girls to the airport in complete silence. Lexii just held my hand and focused on the outside of the window. When we got there Lexii and I basically said what we had to say so we just sat there while Chela and Moi talked about when they would hang again and Alex was staying with Justin longer. Teo, Moi and I were going back home tonight so I can lay in bed and be sad like always. They called for Lexii's flight so we walked to the gate. I put my hands on her waist and pulled her towards me and just held her. "I love you," she whispered. I kissed her forehead and said it back. She walked on the plane and that was that.
