CHAPTER THREE : CRUEL.

My absolutely favourite place in the world.

The quiet room.

It's a place where we go get over the fact of really sad news.

Yes,patient 75 didn't make it.

I arrived five minutes before I said I would and when I reached my patient, the jagged lines that looked like shark jaws was a straight one, almost like it was drawn with a ruler.

His five year old triplets smiled at me when I came out of the ICU.

"Is daddy alright? The lady said he's still sleeping." said one of them,Aris.

I almost let the tear that was trying desperately to get out, out but I hold back. For their sake.

Orphans now.

Bitter reality.

I smiled at them again and told them everything was okay and made my way to the 'quiet room'.

The whole thing is, the other doctors didn't let any of their patients deaths affect them personally. But I was young unlike others, it was my first patient and I actually did move with the family.

you can't expect seven months to go fast. I grew close to the triplets and knew each of them well like they were my siblings.

The whole seven months, they were with their only relative in the country who bothered about their well being, their grandmother.

Their permanent address just changed for good.

I get up, wipe my tears and head back to the ICU.
The grandmother was there and she was already crying.
The little ones where around her, patting her shoulder, telling her not to cry for reasons best they never know.

I walk closer and spoke.

"Hey kids, Why don't you all go to the playpen? Grandma and I want to talk. It's alright, right?"

They all nod together grin widely and ran off.

Two girls and a boy.
Aris,Iaena and Eric.

cute little outcomes of nature.

I took a seat next
to their grandmother and spoke to her about the procedures and related. She ended up crying profusely. I give her my condolences and head to my room.

Right now,a Cup of tea would me most inviting.

If any of you have experienced bullying in your school life unlike me, don't worry. Because being bullied by doctors older than you and who definitely have more experience than you is worse.

welcome to planet Melenor.

I walked into the common room with long and quick strides and head into my room. I gathered my things, removed the doctors coat and headed out.
