CHAPTER SEVENTEEN : WHEN LIFE LOST IT'S RAINBOWS.

Elara was not entirely mad.
Rather she couldn't understand why Mark thought of hiding his profession.

It just didn't make sense to her.

She paced quickly to the lecture hall, already running late.

She saw a familiar face reading something in the corridor and called out.

"Hey Graham!" She called out waving like crazy.

Graham turned his face to the calling and smiled at Elara, before walking towards her.

He almost made it to Elara but suddenly collapsed to the floor.

Elara dropped her books in shock and on reflex ran to Graham's side, forgetting everything else.

"Graham!? Get up! Are you awake?" Elara questioned frantically.

By now more people had gathered around to see what was going on.

"Someone call an ambulance please!" El requested and one of them nodded attending to it.

Elara tried to pull up the unconscious Graham into a sitting position and with the help of a few more people, they managed to carry him carefully to the university entrance.

Within a short time, the ambulance arrived,
and Elara accompanied Graham as his guardian to the hospital.

"Please be alright." Elara softly repeated to Graham holding his hand while the medics worked on keeping him running.

Elara's phone rang.
It was Cat.

Oh god no. What do I do?
Elara thought for a while before answering the call.

"Hey, where are you!? You are super late but it's okay really cuz there's been some accident and the entire lecture hall is a mess."

Elara felt her voice falter.
"Cat, cat I'm on my way to the hospital right now."

"What!? Why ?? Is the person someone we know? Elara! Who is it?"

"Cat, I'm so sorry, it's Graham."

"No. no
no no! Which hospital are you heading to tell me quickly!" Cat exclaimed and Elara told her the address before the line went dead.

God what is this mess?

Elara breathed out trying to stay calm as possible.

It was so surprising to see Graham faint.

He was the sort of kid who was super healthy; like the whole department could be having the flu, and he'd walk right through the amin halls with not a single sneeze.

Elara didn't call Mel or Mark because of what happened yesterday but she was bound to meet them anyways.

The ambulance was heading to the hospital they both worked in.

Shockingly, Mel and Mark were already there at the hospital entrance waiting for the ambulance.

They attended to it quickly and got him into the ER, Elara following behind.

Elara wondered how these two knew what happened since they worked in the Neuro department and not the ER.

Elara, spoke to Mel forgetting whatever happended.
"Mel, tell me, do you know what's wrong with him?"

Mel turned around to talk to her while Mark handled the necessities with Graham.

"Actually, I too found out recently. He's been hiding it well for a while." Mel spoke.
