CHAPTER ELEVEN : THE USUAL DAYS

I walked into the ward rooms I saw Graham in earlier.

If there's one thing I was,
I was determined to find out what he was doing there that day.

I spot a familiar face in the teemed OPD ward.

'Hey Ben!'I called out
to which he turned.

A smile spread across his face as he made his way towards me.

'Hi Mel what's up? Long time no see?'

'I need a small favour Benny.'

'Fire ahead'

'I saw someone I know in here on the day before yesterday I just wanted to get some information on the person?'

I was honestly trying my luck with a negative chances of success.

'Let's see... name?'

'Graham.'

'Hey Carla!'he called out to the nurse at the OPD info desk,
'Was their a Graham on the list of OPs on the day before yesterday at around...'and he looked at me to which I quickly respond

'03:00 pm'

'3 pm  Carla?'

Carla looked up after a short time and replied,
'Graham Lencheister,25  Dr.Shrewburg at 03:10 pm'

'There you go.'
Ben replied.

With my best puppy dog face I replied.

'Anything more I can get?'

Work work work

Shut up! I'm trying to concentrate!

Well, so am I!

'Sorry love medical laws.' he replied With a smile.

Oh well.

I knew that but I just gave a go anyway.

'Ahh that's okay thank you Ben!'

'Leaving already?' He asked with a pout.

'Sorry buddy,You know David, keeps me working like a slave!' I replied and turned to go.

I walked calmly through the empty hallway of the 4th floor towards the neurology department,
When suddenly,Mudskipper who was running in the opposite direction grabbed my hand pulling me back to the path I just came from.

'Hey!what's up? Where you dragging me off to?!'

'Sorry, it's an emergency. There was an accident, 3 vehicles out of which one was a passenger bus, so the ER wanted some extra hands.'

'Oh right. Let's hurry are the others already there?'

He nods and we both run to the elevator to the ER on the first floor.

The ER was an absolute mess.

One can easily calculate the magnitude of the accident just by looking at the amount of doctors moving around, every single one busy with something.

At least one doctor from every department was there.

A nurse walked up to the both of us and swiftly handed us surgical gloves before moving on to her other tasks.

Right after,an ER doctor approaches us.
"Dr.Melanour and Dr.David?"
He inquires, to which the two of us nod.

He continued,
'Alright then, Bed 16 there's a case of head injury, lots of bleeding I'm suspecting it's a laceration and Bed 09 the person age about 45 is not in a good shape I think his neck is broken thought I had see to other patients before I could furtheranalyse''
that's all he said before moving on.
