CHAPTER NINE : FINDING LOST PUZZLE PIECES.

"No I'm not busy,Whats up?"
Alec answered.
He was trying to hold two plates and a glass of coke plus his phone between his head and shoulder.

"Alright,found anything??"
Melanor inquired

"No,but I found a cousin of his though,he's a first year student I'll ask him asap."

"Thanks and Alex why are trying to hold plates and coke and a phone with two hands??" Mel asked

"Are you like behind me," he turned to look but no she wasn't.
"Seriously how do you-?"

"I have my ways.Alright ,thanks buddy and bye, don't drop anything." Mel replies and hung up.

The sad thing was because both Alec's hands were occupied he couldn't move his head away from his shoulder because then, his phone would fall.

He slowly tried to moved his head away,trying to balance the phone on his shoulder but it fell he sighed.

There goes my screen along with my monthly allowance.

But someone caught it for him.

He looked up to find that it was Mel.
She took the glass of coke from him too.

His mouth hung open.

Mel walked towards the table where Graham,El and Joan was, Alec following.

He quickened his pace matching Mel's and whispered to her,
"Are you secretly a wizard?I swear I won't tell anyone "

Mel laughed.

"One, I' d be a witch and two, I wouldn't tell you even if I was."

Alec held a hand over his heart faking hurt.

"HEY!" Graham gestured when he saw Mel and Alec.

The others waved.

"So what brings you to the uni cafeteria?"
Graham asked

"Are you even allowed here?"
El monotoniously inquires.

"Actually ,I don't know but desperate reasons call for desperate measures." Mel remarked

They sat down and began discussing Mel's desperated reason.

"What would make you desperate anyway? Unless you ran out of ice cream wait ,don't tell me you finally plan to kill Mudskipper?" El says

"Whos mud-" Graham started but was interrupted by Alec
"He is E-" Mel poked the cup of coke on his mouth to get him to shut up. He choked a bit and Joan rubbed his back.

Serves you right
she thought

"Anyway,here is the problem. To those who don't already know, I had a best friend before I want abroad. I kind of lost contact-"

"You means stopped making contact" Alec asked raising a his eyebrow at Mel.

Mel gave him an apologitical look before continuing,
"anyway so I came back of course and he disappeared from the face of the earth. El manages to find everyone of my friends contacts except him and all my friends have no track of him but now Alec here found a cousin of his who, we'll be inquring deeply."

"Okay where do we find this cousin??"

"In fact he's right there."
Alec said pointing at a tall boy wearing glasses.

"What are waiting for then" Mel exclaim and pull Alec half eating and El with her, Joan and Graham following behind.

At the four aproaching him the boy got a bit frightened.
