Hello guys!! This is my first Oasis fanfic. I am super excited to write this. I'm a HUGE fan of Oasis.
This story has a very mature rating. There will be uses of the f-bomb and other strong swear words. Also, there will be mentions of drugs, and sex. I typically don't write like this, but I want to bring Oasis to life in this story as much as possible.

All the other characters besides Oasis are created by me. I hope you all enjoy my story. Please feel free to offer contructive critism. I would love to make this story better. I will attempt to update the story a couple times a week. Enjoy the story, loves:)

1991

Going to England had always been my dream. Now it was happening. It was more than just a two week visit. I would be living there until who knows when. I was ok with that. The United States was great and all, but the U.K! My mother was born in Manchester she meet my father, an American at some collage party when she was sixteen. She ran off to the states with him. She then had me there. About four years after that she had my sister Stephanie or Stevie who was from a different man who ended up beating my mother after he had a few to many beers. My father had left my mother a few weeks after I was born. He couldn't take the stress of being a father, I guess. I don't know a single thing about my father. All my mother has told me is that I have his eyes and smile. I don't know his name or anything of that sort. It really hasn't bothered me much. Me, Stevie and Mom get along fine. Mom is a nurse, so it is easy to find a job. As for me, I just graduated high school. My plans are to find a job in Manchester and work towards a collage education, I wanted to be a writer, or a poet, something of that sort. I have been told since an early age that I had a knack for writing. It was my solitude, my comfort. England would be my muse. It was a beautiful far off land that I had seen in magazines, and on the television. Mom had always told me how she couldn't wait to take me and my sister to her homeland, and now here we were packing our things and moving away.

Grandma Mitchell had been ill for a while. It was only a matter of time before she passed on. Mom thought it would be a good idea to move back to England to be with her, and also for me and Kaitlynne to meet her. We had been in England for three days. We found a small little house in a little neighborhood in Manchester. It wasn't too far from the nursing home that Grandma was in.

"I think it's time you girls go meet your Grandmother." Mom said as she glanced up from her newspaper.

"Nursing homes make me squeamish." Kaitlynne complained. She could be such a brat at times. She was fourteen so it came with he territory of a being a young teen I guess.

"She is your Grandmother, Stevie. The only one you have contact with. She has been wanting to meet you girls for as long as I can remember." Mom said not looking up from her reading. Mom has always wanted to bring us here. But, we never had the money for it. Also, mom didn't want to leave her life in the U.S. After she heard the news that Grandmas heart was getting bad. She sold the house and took everything she owned out here with us.

"Let's get going Stevie." I said as I grabbed my purse and the keys to the car off the table. She rolled her eyes and followed me out. It was a chilly for a summer day. I hadn't gotten used to the temperature difference yet.

"It is so cold in this stupid place." Kaitlynne muttered. I rolled my eyes ignoring her snootiness and walked to the driver's side of the car.

"Wrong side, genius." Kaitlynne laughed. I still wasn't used to driving on the other side of the vehicle. Even driving on the other side of the road had confused me a little. I was nervous about driving deeper into the city, but I knew my time was coming. Everything was different here, but yet so similar to the states. I got into the proper side of the car. We fastened our seat belts. I took off into the street. It was about a five minute drive to the nursing home. Mom showed us where it was the other night when we went shopping. Kaitlynne starting messing with the radio. She flipped through the stations.
