"I thought Liam kidnapped you." Stevie  exliaims as she jumps up from the couch as I walk through the door. "I was worried." She adds. I thought she was asleep. I wonder how much she saw.

"Well, he didn't he took me to the beach near Liverpool." I conferm. "When will mom be home?"

"Around six-thirty I think. I can't believe he took you all the way to Liverpool. How was it?" She asked with ceriousity.

I sigh like a thirteen year old girl who just had her first kiss, which I actually kind of just did, except I was almost nineteen.

"Let me guess wonderful?" she said with a giggle.

"More than that. It was pretty close to the best night of mylife."

"I'm jelous of you. I wish I could meet him. I want to see if he is handsome as you say he is."

"Well, he is stopping by tomorrow. So you have the perfect chance." I say.

"Did he kiss you? You act frazzled in a good way."

"Yes, a lot actually." I blush.

"Let me guess he is your boyfriend now?" She ask.

"How did you know?"

"You seem really happy and your glowing. That is how. I have a sixth sense." She adds with a joking grin.

"I am. It is time for bed now. If I can even sleep. I swear my heart won't stop pounding." I admit.

"Katty called for you tonight. She wanted to know how your date was." Stevie says.

"I will call in back tomorrow. Goodnight, Stevie." I say as I walk off towards my room.

"And some guy named Noel called." She said with a look of confusion.

"Oh..." I trail off as I stop in my tracks.

"Who is Noel?" She asked with curiosity.

I sigh. I didn't wanna talk about that. I had completely forgot about him. "This guy I met at the record store in the mall. He wanted my number. I never thought he would call."

"Well, I told him you were on a date and to call back another time."

"Great." I mummer. I hope he would take that as a sign that I was not on the market. Somehow I doubted it.

The next morning I woke fairly early. I was excited for Liam to come over. I got dressed first thing. I spent extra care on my outfit and makeup. Since when did I care what boys thought?

When I walked into the kitchen from the bathroom mom was sitting on the table reading the morning paper drinking her coffee.

"Good moring, mom. I didn't expect you to be up since you worked a graveyard shift." I greated. Mom jumped a little. Mom didn't sleep very often I guess that's what working strange hours did to you.

"Oh, I didn't even hear you. But, goodmoring. What are your plans today?" She asked softly as she sipped her coffee, still a little startled from me walking in on her so early.

"Well........" I trail off. I didn't want to tell her about Liam this way but I had no choice.

"Remember Liam the guy I was going out with last night?" I asked.

"Yes, I do. How did that go. I feel like I've been so cut off from you from working all the time."

"Well. He is coming over today. He actully lives a few houses down." I really didn't feel like telling mom we were together now. She would ask a billion questions like always. But, then again if she saw us hug or anything like that she would know.

"Actully, mom. I really like him. He asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes." I can't believe I really said that.

Mom sat down her coffee and folded her paper. She looked up at me with her green eyes.

"Isn't that a little fast? Especially since it was your first date."

I nod. When she said it I  realized she was right. I barely know Liam. Maybe I would tell him we needed to put the breaks on and get to know each other better before we dive into this.

"Rhi, I'm happy to met him, and I'm happy your making friends here. But, I don't wanna see you get hurt like I did. I was crazy in love with your father. I was young like you. I don't want to see you wind up pregant and then be a single mother like me." Her voice and eyes were filled with concern. Mom ment well, she really did.

"I know mom. I will be careful trust me." I asure her. I really didn't beleive myself, though. Liam was hard to resist.

It was nearly four oclock and Liam had yet to show. I was begining to think he was standing me up. I probably scared him off or something. I was watching TV trying to stop myself from being antsy, which wasn't helping. I heard the phone ring from the kitchen, it was probably mom getting called into work.

"I got it." Yelled mom.

"Sure she is right here." Mom spoke into the phone as she walked into the room. I looked at her puzzeled. She placed her hand over the speaker.

"It's some guy. Maybe it's Liam" mom wispered.

"He doesn't have my number." I confermed. I knew who it was, it was Noel...again. Mom looked at me funny and handed me the phone. I got up and walked towards my bedroom.

"Hello." I spoke into the phone.

"Rhiannon, it's Noel from the record store." He said in his thick accent.

"I know I remember you." I couldn't help but roll my eyes.

"Good, this seems rather forward of me, and a little in the creepy side since I'm probably much older than you."

I sighed a little. I knew what he was gonna ask me. "I'm almost ninteen."

"Ok, five years isn't to awfully bad. Would you like to go on a date, more as friends?" He asked.

I thought for a moment. "I have a boyfriend, Noel. Thanks for asking though."

"Wells since you have a boyfrind how about just hanging out sometime. It will be extremely casual, I promise."

"I.....don't know. I don't even know you." Couldn't he take a hint? I didn't want to meet him. I was interested.

"Well, use this as a chance to get to know me." He says.

"Ok, I guess I'm alright with it." Deep down I knew this was a awful idea. Something was pushing me to do this, and I wasn't liking it.

"Great! Meet me at the food court in mall at six"

"Well, my boyfriend is coming over anytime. I don't know how long he will stay."

"Bring him along." He suggests. I wasn't sure how Liam would react to us going to hang out with another guy. I guess I would find out.

"I can't promise you we will come, but I will try." I explian.

"Alright, well I hope to see you guys, goodbye Lorri."

"Goodbye" I say. He then hangs up. I really hope Liam wouldn't mind. I had a feeling things wouldn't turn out good.
