"I want to make a promise to you. I promise I will be your man forever." Liam remarks. My heart was still racing.

"I promise I will be with your forever too." I promise with a smile.

"Good, then here is my promise ring." He says as he gently slips the ring on my finger. I examine the ring. It was beautiful. A small pearl set in the middle surrounded by very small diamonds. I hope this didn't cost him to much.

The rest of the night was a hazy blur. I was on cloud nine. Life was nearly perfect. The gang stayed for about another hour. The guys drank a few beers and smoked a few cigs. Me, Katy, and my sister talked among our selves. Stevie and Guigs were the last to leave. He was driving her home. Everyone in the gang had someone they either liked or where together with. There was me and Liam. Katy and Tony who weren't together yet, but getting close. Bonehead had a girlfriend who lived on the other side of the city. As for my sister and Guigsy, it would amount to nothing.Noel on the other hand didn't have anyone. Noel had remained silent since Liam had given me the ring. I had a feeling he was angry.

The night sky was dark. I wish I could see the blanket of stars sparkling like I did at home. It was to hard to see them in because of the city lights. They were extremely beautiful this time of year back home. Home wasn't Indiana anymore Manchester was.

"Trying to look for stars?" Noel ask from behind. I turn around to see him standing there with a cigarette hanging out of him mouth.

"I'm trying, I can't see them here. I could in Indiana though." I say sadly.

"We went there during the tour. That part of America seems rather boring." Noel piped.

"It is, but you don't know any different if you were born there. Manchester could be really boring to someone." I implied.

"But, it isn't to you? Is it?" He questions as he takes a drag of his cigarette.

"No, I have you guys. I love it here. Sometimes I just miss home though. I lived there for nearly nineteen years."

"Are you ever going back home to visit?" He asked.

"I hope to. I have friends there. That is about it. I am pretty sure they forgot about me by now. I haven't talked to them since I left. Pretty shitty, huh?"

"No, not really. You moved on with your live. If people are meant to be in your future they will find a way that is how I see it."

"You're pretty wise for mid-twenty's?" I say with a small smile.

"Ah, I have seen a lot of fucking crazy things in this world."

"Like what exactly?" I question.

"Well, how should I explain this to a child?" He says with a wink.

"Me? I child." I say trying to sound offended.

"No, you seem very mature for your age. I took you as a older bird when I met you." He says as he sits next to me on the step. I let out a small laugh. Noel was sitting weirdly close to me. I wonder if Liam was getting suspicious about where I was.

"Anyway....I have have been all over Europe. Been to Asia, Russia, most of the States, Canada, and places like that. I have been in many fights. I have been kicked out of school. Shagged about eight girls. Done a number of drugs. Wrote a bunch of songs. So yeah, I've seen and done a lot of shit. But, not enough." I wasn't surprised. Noel seemed complicated and moody. But, he was thoughtful and wise.

"Well, I can't say I've done much in my-life." I say as I look at me feet.

"Doesn't matter. You have your whole life. Don't waste it." He advises.

"So do you just live in the moment then or something?"

"Kinda" He shrugs.

"Then lets live right here right now." I say as I pull him up from the steps.

"Where are you taking me?" He ask as I pull him down the side walk. I wasn't one for being bold. When I was younger me and Stevie would ride our bikes to the park late at night. We would get on the swings and pump our legs to get as high on the swings as we could. We would then jump off. It was the perfect adrenaline rush. For a thirteen year old maybe. But, the slight buzz I had from my beer earlier was making me feel rather daring and nostalgic.

"We are getting high." I say as we make our way to the park.

"If you want some drugs I can hook you up. I have a stash of coke in my room." Noel admits.

"You really keep coke in your room with your mother around?" I asked shockingly.

"Yes, she doesn't know I have it. I only get high when she is gone."

"Why am I friends with a drug addict?" I ask rolling my eyes.

"Because of our kid." He says referring to Liam.

"Well here we are." I say as I hold out my arms in front of the park.

"The swings really?" He asked baffled at my child like behavior.

"Yes, follow me." I say running towards the swing set. Noel follows close behind me. I sit on a swing and start to pump my legs. I look over and Noel. He was pumping his legs, but not as hard as me.

"You gotta pump higher if you want to jump farther." I suggest.

"I will jump when I'm ready." I close my eyes as I feel myself flying in the swing as I pump my legs. I pulled my arms back and prepared for my jump. I held my breath and flew out of the swing on my highest swing. I screamed as I flew through the air. I hadn't done this in years. It was still just as fun and probably more dangerous now that I was older and more likely to hurt myself. I landed on the ground with a hard thud. It hurt a little bit but not as bad as I expect. Noel reminded on the swing still pumping.

"Was that epic or what?" I yell over to Noel.

"Ehh, I can do better. I think." He says.

"Your cocky."

"Oh, just wait and see Missy." He says with a light laugh. Just then he jumps from the swing. He lands right next to me.

"So you think your better? Mr. Gallagher?"

"That was weak jump." He declaired.

"No, that was just a lazy excuse. I'm just a better jumper that is all." I brag.

"You win." He shrugs.

"I get off that easy? You let me win?"

"No" Noel says as he scoots close to me.

"No? Then how do you win?" I ask innocently.

"Like this." He says as he puts his hand behind my head and pulls his face into mine and kisses my lips. Every cell in my body should have been screaming stop. But, I didn't pull away. We kept kissing frantically. Something about this felt amazing, but it was wrong so wrong. I pulled away quickly. I couldn't do this. Noels eyes were glazed over with excitement.

"What was that for?" I say sounding slightly angry.

"I didn't think. I just...." I jump up and run towards the house.

"Rhi, Wait!" Noel yells. I stop and look back at him.

"You kissed me back remember that." Noel yelled. I didn't reply I kept running. I was awful. Awful for sneaking out with my boyfriends brother and even in more from kissing him and liking it. I stopped dead in my tracks and looked at my beautiful promise ring Liam gave me. I slipped it off and stuck in my pocket. I wasn't going back to the Gallaghers tonight. I was going somewhere else.
