Chapter 69 - I Can't Do It

Previously;
Selena was confused. "What are you saying?" she asked.

Patrick sighed. "I want you to help me die..."
Now;

Selena was shocked. "You can't ask me to do that!"

Patrick sighed. "Selena, please."

Selena shook her head. "No daddy please don't ask me to do that. I can't."

Patrick was getting angry. He had never got angry at Selena before. "I have stood by you while you have had three children! You could at least do one thing for me!" he yelled.

Selena started crying. She stood and walked out.

Selena walked back to the flat. She went in and saw Ziggy standing in the kitchen feeding Olaf. He looked up and saw Selena's tears. "Babe, what's wrong?"

Selena broke down crying. "M-my dad, he asked me to help him die. I think I should," Selena mumbled.

Ziggy was shocked. "Lena, babe. You can't do that."

Selena looked at him. "Why not? It's what he wants."

Ziggy sighed. "Babe, if you help him die then you'll get into a load of trouble. You'll go to prison and they'll take Daisy, Charlee and Jayden from us," Ziggy said.

"They'll take my babies?"

Ziggy nodded. "Yeah babe and I can't lose you," Ziggy said. He kissed her passionatley. "I love you babe."

"I love you too."

A Few Hours Later.

Selena and Ziggy were cuddled on the sofa. The door knocked so Ziggy stood to answer it. He smiled when Daisy came running in. Charlee walked in slowly while Maxine pushed Jayden in his pushchair. "Lena, are you alright?" Maxine asked.

"Yeah, headache."

Maxine smiled as Ziggy took his son from the pushchair. Selena smiled as Maxine walked out after saying goodbye.

One the kids were in bed, Selena and Ziggy went to bed themselves. "I wanna get married. As soon as possible," Selena said.

"Me too."

Selena looked at him. "Tomorrow. I wanna get married tomorrow Ziggy."

Ziggy was shocked. "Babe, what's bought this on?" Ziggy asked.

Selena sighed. "My daddy might not be alive for much longer. I want him to be there for me when I get married."

Ziggy nodded and kissed her. "If it's what you want."

The Next Morning.

Selena had informed Patrick of the wedding and he had agreed to come. Selena sat in her bedroom with Daisy and smiled. "You're so gorgeous sweetie."

"You're lovely too mummy," Daisy mumbled. Selena kissed her head.

A Few Hours Later

Selena made her way to the registry office with Daisy and Charlee. Ziggy had Jayden with him. "You and daddy gets married?" Daisy asked.

"Yeah sweetie."

Daisy giggled. Charlee was giggling at all the birds.

Arriving at the registry office, Selena saw her dad in his wheelchair. "Selena please. Help me."

Selena shook her head. She saw Sandy standing with Maxine. "Daisy, take Charlee over to nanny," Selena instructed her daughter.

After Daisy had gone with Charlee, Selena turned to her dad. "Daddy, this is my wedding. Please don't ask me to do this. I can't do it. I could go to prison!"

Patrick realised that asking Selena wasn't the best thing to do. "I'm sorry Selena. I should never have asked this of you," he said.

Selena walked inside with her dad. "I may not be able to walk you down the aisle but I want to be with you," Patrick said.

"I'd love you too."

With Ziggy.

Ziggy stood at the alter waiting for Selena. He had his son next to him in the pushchair. Eventually, Selena came in. "She looks gorgeous," Ziggy mumbled.

Ziggy and Selena had both said I do. Selena was now Mrs Roscoe. They were heading to the Pub to celebrate. "You Mrs Roscoe look amazing."

"So do you."

Ziggy kissed her passionatley. "You're my gorgeous wife now."

Selena grinned. They shared a passionate kiss.

During the wedding reception, Selena walked over to her dad. "I meant what I said daddy. I can't do it. I can't help you die. It's selfish but I want you alive for as long as possible. I lost my mum but I cannot lose you too," Selena admitted.

Patrick just nodded. He was still going to end his life. He wasn't involving Selena. He and Maxine were renewing their vows in a few days. That's when he would go.
