Chapter 56 - Maxine's Been Released.

That day was Maxine's trial and Selena was watching Minnie while Patrick attended the

trial "mummy is Innie coming today?" "Yeah" Daisy grinned "yay" Selena smiled just as Ziggy came out holding Charlee "Arlee, Innie is coming" Charlee lifted her head of Ziggy's shoulder and smiled "put Arlee down daddy" Ziggy put Charlee down and Daisy took her hand "come on Arlee, daddy gots work" Selena grinned "you heard her" Ziggy rolled his eyes just as the puppy came over "mummy, Olaf" Selena puck the puppy up and put him into the basket "why are you putting Olaf in there mummy?" Selena smiled "because he's tired" Daisy nodded "mama" Charlee started crying so Selena puck her up and Ziggy left to go to the garage.

Patrick arrived at the flat half an hour later "yay Innie is here" Selena smiled as she took the pushchair from her dad "she's been fed so she should sleep" Selena nodded and looked at Minnie who was asleep "I'll pick her up as soon as the trial is over" Selena again nodded "see ya" Patrick left and Selena looked at Charlee who was sitting with the puppy "Charlee come here" Charlee toddled over and Selena puck her up "what's wrong baba" Charlee pointed to the sofa "mummy is my Arlee okay?" Selena smiled "yeah" Daisy frowned "but she looking sad" Selena put Charlee on the sofa and walked over to where Daisy was "Charlee is being grumpy today" Daisy giggled just as the door knocked "stay there" Daisy nodded and Selena went to open the door and Lindsey was standing there "Lindsey, what can I do for you?" Lindsey smiled "have you spoken to Joe?" Selena frowned "no, why?" Lindsey sighed in relief "I'd love it if you didn't say anything, Joe wants this baby so much and it would kill him to know it was Freddie's" Selena looked at Daisy "baba, go in your room and play?" Daisy nodded "okay mummy".

When Daisy was in her room and Charlee and Minnie were asleep Selena looked at Lindsey "I'm not gonna say anything, but you should, its not right him thinking the baby is his" Lindsey sighed "Selena, Joe would hate me" Selena rolled her eyes "I'd rather be hated then carry on living a lie" Lindsey looked at Selena "I couldn't bare Joe hating me, I look at you and Ziggy with Daisy and Charlee and think I want me and Joe to be like that" Selena sighed "you won't get that if Joe finds out, he'll be fuming" before Lindsey could say anything Minnie woke up crying "I'll be two seconds" Lindsey nodded and Selena went in to the bedroom where Minnie was lying and puck her up.

Lindsey had gone and Charlee had also woke up "mama" Selena smiled "Charlee come here" Charlee walked over to Selena and she puck her up "Daisy are you okay?" Daisy came out the bedroom with her blanket "mummy me seepy" Selena grinned "come here" Daisy climbed onto the sofa with Charlee and put her blanket over the both of them "awh you two are adorable, Selena put Minnie inbetween them and took a picture logging onto facebook she uploaded the photo -

Selena logged off just as the door knocked so she puck Minnie up and went to answer it and got a shock when she saw Nancy standing there "hi Selena, your dad asked me to pick Minnie up" Selena frowned "he's been at court all morning" Nancy smiled "he text me and asked" Selena was about to speak when Charlee came up to her "mama" Selena looked at Charlee "come in a bit Nancy" Nancy grinned and walked into the flat "who's that mummy?" Selena smiled "she works with Grandpa" Daisy giggled and waved at Nancy "she's adorable" "yeah she is" Nancy looked at Selena "where's Minnie's stuff" Selena rolled her eyes "what's going on?" Nancy smiled "Maxine's been released" Selena frowned "released?" Nancy nodded "yeah and I'm taking Minnie to be with her mother" Selena sighed and handed Minnie over to Nancy "if my dad asks I'm gonna say you were taking her to him" Nancy smiled "okay".

Patrick was fuming as he made his way to Selena's flat. When he got there he had to calm down. Selena answered the door and saw her dad who looked angry "Selena, how could you give Minnie to Nancy?" Selena frowned "Nancy said she was taking her to you" Patrick frowned "did she?" Selena nodded "that's the only reason that I gave her Minnie" Patrick sighed "I'm sorry darling" Selena smiled "its okay, I got a cute picture earlier of Daisy, Charlee and Minnie" Selena showed the picture to her dad "I'd like a copy of that" Selena grinned "I'm getting it made into a canvas picture, I'll get you one too" Patrick nodded "well I should go".

Selena put Daisy and Charlee to bed that night and sat on the sofa to watch TV. When Ziggy came back Selena was standing in the kitchen "Lena?" Selena turned to Ziggy "hey" "where the girls?" Selena grinned "sleeping and I'm off to bed" Ziggy frowned "its 08:30" Selena rolled her eyes "who actually said I was going to sleep, I love a man in overalls" Ziggy smirked and walked over to Selena kissing her. A few hours later Selena text Maxine -

*Lena - I hope Minnie is okay x

*Maxine - she's fine. Thank you for giving her back x

*Lena - no worries. Don't tell my dad though x

*Maxine - I won't. You can see Minnie anytime you want x

*Lena - thanks. I'm off too sleep. Night x

*Maxine - night Lena x

Selena fell asleep that night with a smile on her face knowing the best thing for Minnie was with Maxine where she would be safe.
