Chapter 59 - Charlee's Getting Worse

Since it had been revealed that Charlee needed a kidney transplant Selena had been doing everything possible to keep Charlee happy, Daisy had been getting upset thinking that Charlee was going to die.

That morning Selena was sat on the sofa with Charlee when Ziggy came out the bedroom "babe you alright?" Selena looked up and shook her head "no, she doesn't have a clue about what's going to happen too her" Ziggy sighed and came to sit by Selena "look, she's a Roscoe, she'll be fine" Selena smiled "what if she's not? I read that these operations can go wrong all the time" Ziggy planted his lips onto Selena's "I'm not letting anything happen to any of you" Selena smiled.

Selena had to go down to Price Slice as she needed to get some milk. Most of the village had been informed about Charlee needing an operation "Selena, how's Charlee?" Selena sighed "she's fine, I don't thinks she knows what's going on" Cindy smiled "well we're all thinking of her" Selena smiled "thanks, I should get back" Cindy nodded.

Returning to the flat Selena heard Charlee crying which broke her heart because she was in pain and there was nothing she could do. Entering the flat she saw Ziggy holding Charlee "babe you okay?" Selena put the milk into the fridge and walked into the bedroom where she broke down crying. Ziggy walked into the bedroom and went over to Selena who was crying on the bed "what's wrong?" Selena looked up "our baby girl is in there probably in a load of pain and there's nothing we can do for her" Ziggy sighed "she'll be fine, she's a Roscoe" Selena faintly smiled "that's true" Ziggy grinned "I love it when you smile" Selena kissed him.

Three Days Later.

Charlee had been constantly crying and it was getting to Selena, all she wanted was her baby girl better.  Ziggy had gone over to the garage after Selena had told him she would be fine. Daisy had stayed with her dad, Since Sienna had offered to be tested for Charlee Selena had been growing close with her sister.

Selena had just got Charlee to have some juice but she didn't drink a lot.

It was nearing 4pm and Charlee was still crying "Charlee come on baby" Charlee didn't stop crying so Selena placed her on the sofa and she started violently throwing up, she was convulsing so Selena rang an ambulance.

Charlee had been rushed to Hospital and taken straight to intensive care "your daughter's condition is worsening, we need to keep her here" Selena was crying "I need to call her dad".

Ziggy was working on a car when his phone rang -

Call Begins

Ziggy - Lena is everything alright babe?

Selena - No, Charlee started throwing up and convulsing, she's in intensive care.

Ziggy - I'll be there in five

Selena - Okay
Call Ends

"Problem Zig?" Ziggy looked at Joe "Charlee's been taken to Hospital" Joe frowned "why?" "Lena said she started being sick and convulsing" Joe paled "come on".

Arriving at the Hospital Ziggy and Joe went straight to Intensive Care "Lena" Selena looked up and the tears were evident on her face "she looks so helpless, she's hooked up to a load of wires" Ziggy pulled Selena into his arms "where is she?" Selena pointed to the room where Charlee was "come on, our little girl needs us".

Entering the room Ziggy could see why Selena didn't want to be in there, seeing his daughter like that got to him "she's gonna be fine" Selena walked over to the cot Charlee was in and took her hand "hi baby, Mummy and Daddy and uncle Joe are here, you don't need to be scared" Ziggy felt his heart breaking "Zig, I'm gonna give Mum a call" Ziggy nodded and Joe left to call Sandy.

Joe had informed Ziggy and Selena that Sandy was getting on the first train to Hollyoaks. It was nearing 10pm so Joe said he would be back tomorrow and that he would check on Daisy.

All Selena wanted was to have Charlee back at home with her sister and her Mummy and Daddy but she didn't know if that would be possible as she was getting worse.
